Super easy to assemble. This is my 3rd umbrella for my deck and it is outstanding! Assembly us darn near idiot-proof! The only thing that might confuse you are the extra & not needed hardware pieces... Fun! This umbrella is sturdy and sits very securely. All if the features operate as described. I've never used a lighted umbrella before... It us very soft /low light which is fine fir our purposes. Don't plan on reading your nagazibes, but you can more than make sure that you pick everything up when you come inside for the night. My bad, I didn't check to see the actual height of this umbrella when in use as it us shorter/lower when umbrella is fully opened but that was my fault for not checking. Ti solve the issue, we just keep it a little tilted when open, no ducking needed to walk beneath. It provides wonderful shade and the light blue is perfect for a beachy feel. I expect I'll be getting tons of use from this umbrella for years to come. After having this umbrella for a month, I came back and ordered the matching 10' straight pole matching umbrella for our patio dining table. Now, I am going to be on my quest for a smaller half umbrella to use at the french doors on the back porch. Hoping to find from the same company. Yes, I would recommend!

Love my umbrellas! Remember to order the weighted base at the same time (separately) so you can use your umbrella same day! Only thing I wish I could do was angle the umbrella part and lock it in place. The umbrella does "swing freely" in a breeze but once I figured out a good angle on my patio for it, it didn't really matter I couldn't lock it in place so it wouldn't swing around. Overall, an excellent product and love the sturdiness of it so far. I've ordered a few outdoor items from this company and been very impressed

My wife and I were extremely happy with the purchase of this umbrella. Unfortunately a part broke after about 6 months. However, the customer service was great. Very quick responses via an email submission. No long waits on hold. And they rectified the situation. Very happy with the company overall.

Remember the umbrella will not stand on its own you have to purchase additional weights to place on base.

After only being used a few times, the crank to raise the umbrella broke. However, the seller responded very quickly and sent us a replacement.

I like the size and the color. I never could stop the umbrella from spinning around. Unable to use.

I’m tell does not rotate. Once it is set it only goes in one direction.

You get what you pay for. It's not Sun resistant so It fades after one season. The solar lights are on during the day, not the night. Saying all that, this is my second one. The first one lasted 3 seasons, then the crank broke. Same thing solar was on during the day and not nights and then it stopped working entirely after a year. What can I say, I'd rather pay $200 for 6 years then $1,000 for the high quality ones. If you want one that lasts or has true solar, this is not the one for you.

The original order was quickly delivered, but was missing the solar panel to power the lights. I contacted the seller's customer service team and they immediately looked into getting a replacement through their distributer. They were unable to find a single solar panel replacement, so they shipped me a new umbrella free of charge. The replacement arrived within 5 days. I am impressed with Best Choice's customer service and their prompt communication. I feel the they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. (Note: I do see that others have had this issue of a missing solar panel. Best Choice may need to consider a different supplier.)

I wish it would swivel to change positions easier. It works well and is easy to use. The led lights give a gentle ambient light for night time.
