We got this for the beach and unfortunately it really is too small. It opens nicely/quickly and is easy to set up but I’m not going to be using this.It is very small, I’m 5’3” and struggled to sit inside it comfortably, it also didn’t provide as much shade because the opening is too wide so the actual shade you get (unless you are constantly moving it around) is not that much.Folding it up was tricky so we didn’t even fully foldIt.Won’t hold up to a light rain at all… we were at the beach in puerto Rico and it rained and this tent offered zero protection.Overall, do not recommend this shade tent.

I would give this 5 stars but it is so difficult to refold. Super annoying

This tent is really only good for small kids and max 2 kids. The description of its use for 2-4 people is utterly ridiculous. It is super easy to set up and is ultraportable.Folding is bit tricky as there are no manuals that came with this tent. You have to watch the video on their product page to learn how to fold it.But once you practice a couple of times, it becomes easier.

A great tent but extremely frustrating trying to break down. The video makes it look easy, but it's incredibly difficult. Two of us got so aggravated we almost returned it.

The media could not be loaded. I will be comparing this pop-up tent with Ikea’s Sommarvind pop-up tent. Starting off, this tent is smaller than Ikea’s, and it doesn’t fit more than 2 people comfortably. Compared to Ikea’s, it is not as shaded but includes a ventilated design.PROS:- Same pop-up and folding like Ikea’s. It opens and collapses instantly. My video shows how to do this easily and effortlessly.- Same as Ikea’s, they include a carrying bag and strap to help you store it neatly.- While this tent includes wind ropes and tent stakes, they also have 4 refillable sandbags on all sides. If you are too lazy to set up with ropes and stakes, the sandbags are a great and easy alternative to keeping your tent sturdy. The tent held up really well on a windy day on the beach.CONS:- Way smaller than it looks! After sitting in there with others, it feels a bit claustrophobic. It is perfect for a single person.- Even though it claims to be UPF 50+ and blocks out 98% of sunlight, a lot of sunlight still came through. Since it isn’t full coverage, it got hot quickly because of the vented sides, but it was still better than no sun protection.- Didn’t come with folding instructions, but because I had prior knowledge of how to fold Ikea’s, it was easy. Without instructions, it may be challenging.- A bit more on the expensive side. It is comparable to Ikea’s; while Ikea’s is $35, this tent is $50.

Liked:- Sun protection seemed good- easy to set upDisliked:- much, much smaller than expected. One adult fits comfortably, two fit if you’re prepared to cuddle. There’s not way I’d even put 4 children in this.- good for overhead sun protection. You’re getting less UV protection when the sun is coming from the sides.- as easy as it is to set up, it’s inversely difficult to put up. I got so frustrated with the fold up that I wanted to throw it away. Fortunately, a more patient family member came to my rescue and managed to get it back in the storage bag.Due to the size and difficulty with putting it up, I doubt I’ll ever use this again. It’s a good single-person sun-shelter *if* the sun is mostly coming from overhead. And if you don’t care about getting it back neatly into the storage bag, it could be a good solution for solo beach excursions. Not recommended at all, but it does seem reasonably well made, though I’m not putting it through any durability tests.
