Top notch features, great warranty

I am really pleased with the Jackery Explorer 300. I bought it with the primary use-case as backup power for my laptop and phone, so I could work in the event of a power outage like the recent one in Texas. I have since come up with some others.Shown here powering my 16" macbook pro through the USB-C output without the 96W adapter, note it is only drawing around 50W but the computer is remaining at 100%...if the draw was the full 60W, then the computer battery would start to deplete.I LOVE that it has 60W Power Delivery (PD) USB-C as input or output (amazing feature...the 240 does not have this, nor do most ) plus two standard USB outputs.Dual-USB outputsDual-AC outputs"Car Port" is an output.Four ways to charge shown in the user manual, but there are six listed on the website:1. Solar panel within 5.5H >2. Wall outlet + USB-C PD within 2H (0-80%) > I believe this is saying that you can recharge it from the included charger AND the USB-C at the same time...if so, pretty cool.3. Generator within 4.5H > basically the same as a wall outlet4. Wall Outlet within 5H > standard stuff5. Car outlet within 5H > included6. USB-C PD within 5.5H > this is cool. "PD" = Power DeliveryGreat device for camping, road trips, etc. Thought about a friend's recent experience without his CPAP machine while camping and this would have been perfect. Would be great to power a TV while tailgating with a cheap Over The Air (OTA) antenna.Just tested it running a 330W projector and it did fine, displaying about 275W draw. Guessing it could run that for 60 - 90 minutes at the rate the battery was depleting.I have not purchased a solar panel, but think it would be a nice addition. I do not think you would be limited to a Jackery solar panel (says it supports MPPT solar panel charging)...the input is a standard port.Minor con: it does not come with a carrying case, but they will send you one if you write a review and send them a picture of it. I appreciate that they did NOT require it to be a 5-star review, or even a good review. That says something about their corporate integrity and belief in their products IMO. Other minor con: the user manual is a little light; for me, I wanted to have a more clear idea about how to use the USB-C Power Delivery port, since it can be used for input and output. I just tried plugging in my macbook cord and it appears to be drawing about 55W as input and the power meter is increasing...and the input light illuminated. Seems to be working perfectly. I guess no additional instructions were necessary, but I was nervous to try it, especially since my USB-C adapter can push 96W, which is more than the 60W it can handle.Love this thing...thanks for reading.

Very convenient and useful on a daily bases for me!

I'd have to say. This thing is being used a lot more than I intended. From camping trips to daily use at work. I am a construction worker(electrician) . So often times, believe it or not. We work with no electricity. Since we turn everything off to be safe. So this little thing can power anything from a portable clip on lamps to a small fan to help light up and cool down hot electric rooms. The job I am on right now is a ground up job. Meaning it's nothing but dirt. All the old power we ripped out. So the only power on site are the spider boxes(corded power) connected to the utility. They're not convenient what so ever. These boxes are left in certain areas 100+ feet from each other. Rather than pull 200-300 feet worth of extension cords just to power up something small. I can use this power station. And if you're a construction worker. You know some knuckle head is going to unplug your cord to plug theirs in. Now you have to hike 100 yards to go plug it back in. I use this to charge stuff daily like my radio and head lamp at the end of the day. Saves me from hauling my tool cart which is a solid 80 pounds over ruff terrain just to get to a power box. And with only 1 microwave for 20 guys at 2 minutes each. It's almost pointless in waiting to heat up your food. So this little jackery is wonderful. I can plug in my 12v food warmer and get nice hot food prior to start of lunch.!!!! I am able to charge my ear buds daily. The solar charger would be real useful where I'm at now but that'll be for another day and I will update my review if I ever get it. For the price of this unit and how convenient it makes my daily life. I think it's well worth it. Kinda wishing now that I would've spent the money on a bigger unit so I can power certain corded power tools. But that was never my intentions . Definately a game changer and I'll probably never use my portable power bank I built out of a deep cycle battery and inverter ever again. That thing weighs 75lbs. This baby is maybe 5 lbs. I forgot to mention how much my wife loves this as well. She is able to pump (breast milk) anywhere anytime. We camp often. And rather then running the car and pumping for 30 minutes. She can pump right by the lake. All while watching the kids!!!!! I see myself upgrading in the near future.Attached are a few photos of my food warmer set up under my took cart. A photo of my job site so you have an idea of how much distance I have to go without power and how much of a life saver this is. And some voltage readings. The volt reading is well withing range for 120v electronic. I had an inverter recently that I my have me 120v. Your house sockets normally I my gets you 116 give or take 1 or 2 volts.

Excellent Product

I purchased this power station to power my travel CPAP (Z2 Non Heated) when off grid. To my delight, the CPAP only used 10% of the available power per 7 hour use. This rate of usage remained the same for four consecutive nights. The screen on the Jackery indicated the CPAP was drawing 10-11 watts. This is much better than some of the reviews I read prior to purchase. Power consumption was approximately 20% suing a small portable fan over a three hour period. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Kept our Alpicool 23 quart running 7 days

Real life adventure. Was an experiment w/o drama or long list of technology. We had a Jackery 300w, 120 Elecaenta folding solar panel with compatible plugs (sorry Jackery) and Allpicool 23quart refrigerator. 7 days of camping in full sun and spotty forest sun. During day we had solar hooked up to Jackery 300 via Alpicool (admit we had to adjust panels) Jackery was surprisingly quick charging with some limited supply at times of sun. At night, the Alpicool was at total mercy of Jackery 300 to stay alive. Winter days short. Nights long. A couple times the Jackery was at 1% in morning (probably not recommended) However refrigerator was still running strong. A long 9 hour night. Once sun hit solar, Jackery quickly filled up. 7 days later, our left over food was still fresh when driven home. Jackery fully charged by the cigarette lighter on drive home. We were extremely impressed by the many ways the Jackery 300 made our vacation so real and pleasant.

Great for camping w/ cpap

This little battery ran my CPAP for 6 hours with humidity on and tube temp at 70. I tried it the first night without the humidity or hose heater due to the reviews saying it was necessary to turn them off to ensure enough power for the machine. It was about 50 degrees and the cold air being forced into my sinuses was painful. I turned them on the 2nd night figuring that some time was better than none. I had it on for 6 hours and still had 30% of battery. Charged my watch and phone with no problem. Highly recommend! I use a Meds 11.

Great product

I tried it out at home for my cpap and charging my cell overnight, used 66 percent of battery and 4 watts. Used when camping to run a tv for around 4-5 hours and used 55 percent of battery. If it only had a carry bag that would be great. I plan on purchasing a larger one later on. Would recommend!

This is lightweight and will be setting up next time power goes off

I have 4 now of the small ones, (300) this will work for short outages that we have frequently it seems and so much easier than getting the gas generates started. Winter can be really dark , dangerous to use other means (candles , etc. ) I have the wood stove for this reason , now I'm all set with the four for lights (2-5 led watts) camp stove, and these lightweight portable generators from a company that stands behind their product
