I bought mine used a couple times maybe 3 hours… Charged up stored it in bag I purchased for from Jackery , went to use it would not even turn on plugged it in and nothing left on charger over night nothing… Contact Jackery I got form email we received your email and we will be in touch with you within 48 hours that was February 17, 2022 and 4 more emails and no response! If you look on line there are considerably more low rating I believe Jackery just doesn’t acknowledge… Don’t Buy bad product even worse company!

Defective product last 1 hour then request a return it took weeks then Fedx will not accept packages with batteries in the box since this is a battery it will not be accepted by fedx. Please find a carrier to pick this product up ASAP or issue my refund this is getting to problematic for me and taking to much of my time back and forth. The time gas and the frustration is making me sick.

Got it out of the box and charged it and once it said 100% and I disconnected it from charger it turned off. Kept trying to charge it but it just turns off when I unplug it. This is very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend and if I could give it 0 stars I would.

I was a big proponent of the Jackery and still am to an extent however, this experience with the Jackery 500 was not favorable. I have the 240 unit with the solar option and it has been great, I use it for my 12V fridge freezer when camping, overlanding, racing, and fishing. The 240 was great but not enough AH for extended trips so I decided to get the 500W version for more AH and overall capability. I placed an order here on Amazon which took 10 days to receive the unit (Yes I am a Prime member... Still took way to long). I had planned to use the 500 to power the cable modem/fridge etc.. during power outages when not on the road. Well coincidentally the first power outage was the day that took ownership of the 500 unit so I was thrilled to put it to work. The unit was topped off prior to losing power, at 100%. Power went out, so I plugged the modem into the unit and no dice... no power out of the outlet... zilch. I power cycled the unit and nothing, no 110v power. After turning it on and off and attempting multiple times to get power out of the 110v, to my surprise, it powered up and actually put power out of the outlet.. then on subsequent tries, nothing whatsoever. Luckily, I had a 240 unit to power the modem and continue doing work however, I am very disappointed in my overall experience with this unit. The Jackery team should have caught the faulty unit before shipping it out. Upon attempting to return the unit, the folks handling the return were nice however, the return processes are antiquated and slow. In this day in age, you send out a replacement product immediately as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. Issue prepaid labels for return (which they did), then you refund the person as soon as the defective unit is received. The process that I experienced was as follows: Return the defective unit, once we have the unit we will ship another one please allow 1-3 days processing, please allow for 1-3 days for warehouse to ship, then it will ship ground (10days). SO lets do some analysis... Its 10 days for me to return it via the label provided, then 1-3 days for processing, then 10 more days to take receipt of the new unit.... this has me without a back up for 22-26 day minimum. If you sell a product mainly on Amazon, make sure you can get a replacement back to the customer within 1-2 business days no questions asked! And oh by the way, you should send the customer a 1000W unit for all of the hassle! If you want to keep customers, you have to be willing to make changes to your methods and get replacements out immediately.... Change my mind! Until then, this experience has me trying out a competitor to see how their product works. Had the process been easy and fast, you'd have kept me as a customer. I will update this if Jackery reaches out to me so that others can see what the result is otherwise, Ill post a review on the competition.
