The remote control option is great until my great granddaughter learns how to operate it.

This chair was honestly the best thing I have come across in a long time. My daughter just turned 3 so we decided to give this a try for her. Assembly was almost nothing - simply attaching the handles, connecting the battery, and adding the top seat belt harness and it was ready to go. It came with a charger and charged in about 8 hours. My daughter was able to start playing with it immediately and got the hang of moving around on it fairly quickly. She weighs 30 lbs and the weight limit on this is 45. My oldest daughter is 6 and weighs 85 lbs but was still able to ride it (although a bit slower), so I would keep weight in mind when ordering. The lights on this are super fun and it has noise (music or car beeping sounds) to play when in use. There is a manual mode or remote mode, so if you have little ones who can’t get the hang of the handles, you can move it around for them. My 7 month old had the biggest smile on his face while he was fastened in and we were controlling it. I do wish there was a way to turn off the lights when in use, but that is something minor. Honestly, this chair is so much fun. I am very tempted to get a second so they can be used by my other child and they can truly bump into each other. 5/5! If you have a child that meets the weight requirement, get it! You will not regret it.

I wish they made these for adults for indoor household use too so I can join in on it lol Really wasn’t much to this out of the box. Very minimal assembly. I do wish it was Bluetooth, but it’s not an option. It does have off on button to turn off the preprogrammed music though - thankfully as I do find it loud with it on & without it on. I think my favorite part about this bumper car is I can actually control it with the remote ( it’s kinda cheap side, I would of appreciated it to be better quality). Aside from those minor things it’s a big hit in the house and we’ve been using it daily sometimes multiple times a day for 10-15 mins for my sons that take turns. Still haven’t had to charge since I got it coming back to update 1.7.22. This says not to exceed 45lbs by the way!

This Ride on Electric Bumper Car for Kids & Toddlers is a great gift, especially for little toddlers approximately 12 months and older. The ride has two settings for speed but both are fairly slow when compared to other motorized kids ride-on toys. There is the option to use a remote control or the two joysticks on the car itself; however, the joysticks are very confusing for young children, including my three year old daughter who does not understand them and gets frustrated if I encourage her to try. This toy is best enjoyed with more than one car, but it is still a fun toy solo as it can be "bumped" against other items and does not jostle the rider. It is very protected and keeps the rider safe, utilizing a rubber barrier around it, the backing to the seat and a seat belt system that goes around the waist and the shoulders. Assembly was very straightforward; however, it is important to note that the battery is not connected upon delivery and you will have to do this yourself. It mentions that the power must be turned off before you connect the battery but does not explain how you check this. There is a red button on the front - make sure that it is not pressed in. You can test this before you connect the battery by pressing the button in or out. It should be popped out, as this is the "Off" position. Ensure that this is done before connecting the battery. Once the battery is connected, you then install the backing which is a simple click-in system. You can remove the back if required but this does take more effort, as it is designed to be durable and not easily removed. Finally, you can decorate the bumper car with the provided sticker sheet. The manual suggests charging the battery before use for 8 hours. I did plug ours in to charge after assembling it but the battery indicated that it was fully charged. We have played with this bumper car for hours and it still has power. The battery has an extremely long battery life despite playing with it on the fullest speed and with the music playing. My daughter is three years old and has so much fun on this but she is nearing the age where she is too old for the speed this bumper car offers. At her age, she is able to control the ride with the remote but has difficulty with the controls on the car. The music that plays while the bumper car is on is optional but very silly and enjoyable to young children. My daughter loves to have it playing while she drives around in this toy. It is very comfortable for her to ride around in and she really enjoys the time she gets to play on it. I would recommend this toy, especially for younger children who are not quite old enough to play with a 12V battery vehicle. The remote is easy to use and pairs with the bumper car immediately. It has a good wireless range and responds instantly, making it a great gift for younger ages.

My grandson has an electric car. He has refused to even try to steer it for the last 3 years. Chasing after him, bending over to steer has been a pain both literally and figuratively. When I saw this, I did a happy dance! I can walk behind the grandchildren while remotely controlling the car. No more worry about them crashing into parked cars and trees. No more bending over to steer for them. Yeah! All the lights are a cute touch. Initially, it scared my granddaughter when it started moving and made her cry. Once she saw her big brother loved it and was not afraid of it, she gave it another try. Now, you cannot get her off of it. She loves it. This is a great gift for my grandchildren and an even better gift for me. No more bending over to steer to keep my grandchildren safe and alive. Love the remote control! I hardly get to use it, however. My son-in-law loves the remote. Now, he takes the kids out so he can play with it. To him, it is just a big remote-controlled car to play with that happens to fit his kids.

The media could not be loaded. I got this bumper car as part of the Christmas gifts for my younger daughter. I made a mistake of letting her see the box. So she talked me into letting her “test” it to make sure it works. Upon unboxing, everything was where it is supposed to be and well protected. Assembly was straightforward and simple. Before using the bumper car, it is recommended to fully charge the battery first. So, she patiently waited for the battery to charge. She absolutely loved it as soon as she got on it for the first time. She had a lot of fun riding it around the street. The LED lights and music were just icing on the cake. The remote feels lite and cheap, but responsive. We haven’t had any issue with the range so far. Oh yes, it is durable. Not only my little daughter and her friends were rough with it, my older daughter got into the action too. Even with her weights being a little over 100lbs, this little bumper car just zips around without any hesitation. It handled all the abuse the kids threw at it. My older daughter had just as much fun as my little daughter. They even had fun controlling the car for each other with the remote. To be honest, I never expected my kids to have so much fun with this little bumper car. It never crossed my mind that my older daughter would be able to ride and have fun on it. Anyway, unlike the power wheel cars, this one is much lighter to move around, and it takes up less space to store. Anyway, I am giving this bumper car a solid 5 stars.

Bumper car is cool. It can be controlled with remote control or when someone is riding, there’s also a joystick. Easy to use. Light on the bumper car is always on. I wish it can be turned off. The music can be turned on/off. Charger is included on the package. It last long. Used it for more than 1 hour and still working. Price is reasonable. Overall, I’m satisfied with it. The reMote control broke right away but I’ve contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. Kudos to customer service.

This is actually an incredible toy. The fact you can remote control it is awesome. The handles are effective and do a good job controlling it. I really like the quality is awesome and the battery life seems solid. Overall it's really fantastic, I'm really happy with how easy it is to charge and use.

Ride On Electric Bumper Car is hilariously fun. My toddler loves this and what’s even better is it’s parent controlled. They’re safe and can have fun. It can spin too a 360 mode, there are lights, and music. It has all the bells and whistles on would need. It’s a lot of fun, it doesn’t go too fast though but it’s still a good time. The safety harness works well too.
