Not the easiest to use. I can crack a beer and down it by the time someone can use this to get the top off. I wouldn’t buy it again but it’s a fun 60 second party trick.

In theory with 4 cutters you would only need to turn the device 90 degrees to effectively cut the lid and the directions believe so as well, however it needs to be turned 3 entire revolutions 1080 degrees to make a full cut through the lid. Also the pull tab is in the way, there is no relief for the tab so it constantly pushes the cutter up causing a spiral effect. I found that popping the tab and bending it off then drinking some of the drink before trying to cut the lid was most effective. It works and the lid cuts off but it’s just not as easy I hoped or as is described.

It really is an awesome concept but the blades are not sharp enough to cut through easily which causes you to need to hold the can tighter. Which is fine until you break the seal and you look like a bad infomercial spilling your drink everywhere. If you pop the top before you start the side walls of the can are not rigid enough to not squeeze some beverage out. I dig it it just always makes a mess no matter who tries it or can style.

Here is a review for the craft beer enthusiasts. If you like to smell your beer when you drink it this item is for you. I could not wait to get this item once I ordered it. It's price is a bit high and it's function is about 50%. However the end result is fantastic. It took me a while to figure out how to make it work. It works everytime I use it but it doesn't work the same way every time. Takes some fussing around but very worth it. If you don't have patience do not buy this item.

1st this should come with a label on the packaging saying "Good for up to 50 uses!"When I first purchased this, it was a huge hit! I loved it, friends thought it was amazing, and it became a gift for multiple birthdays and partys. However, we have now all experienced the same thing. After about 50 uses, this thing is worthless. For some reason, despite operating the exact same way on the exact same cans, it wont cut anymore. I think only one of the four dials actually works now and the struggle and mess just aren't worth it anymore. For nearly $30 (when I purchased it a while ago) im torn on it's value to replacement. I mean, we are in a recession so such things must be considered when weighing out my levels of laziness.Overall, I want to love this (and in fact I did). Even seeing it appear on Shark Tank after I owned it made me love it more, but now, I dont think Ill replace it. Again, a generous 3 stars but probably worth two. #sadness

The product is OK but hard to use

Doesn’t work well at all, especially on the smaller diameter cans. Fun for about ten minutes, now it’s just hanging on the fridge door (it’s got a magnet.) The force with which you have to hold the can crushed the can every time. Gimmick.

It doesn’t always leave a smooth surface, and takes some effort the separate the lid from the can. It does work though.Indifferent on if I’d repurchase

If you drink regular sized soda & beer cans,it's okay. Unfortunately for me, I love drinking Japanese beers and their cans are far more bigger and better made. I thought this gadget will be more flexible and adaptable to many can sizes, but it's not.

I'm writing this review franky way early for an actual review, we'll call it a first impression.Comparing this to the way a standard can opener works (for non beer/soda cans etc.) reveals some of it's flaw. It does not provide tension to the can, so you're essentially sawing through hoping the blades are sharp enough. The instructions even state to let the pressure out, which makes sense to minimize mess, but also changes the can from a solid grip to something more precarious that will deform if not careful.Holding the can at the bottom seems to help a little, but you have to be careful not to tilt as well.I tested this on an empty can first just to see how it cuts and with the empty can I couldn't even get a cut in after several minutes of putting tension on the blades and rotating. to be fair that may have been my user error even, I'm still not sure, but if it takes more than 5 seconds to open the can it is already time wasted in my opinion. It is genuinely difficult to use and does not feel very well made, it seems like it will last, but I don't know if I will use this again at all. I'm tempted to get a competitor and compare.TLDR; opener takes far more effort to open a can that one would hope and does not feel very well made.
