Unhelpful prompts, confusing self-installer programs foils install new version of Office 356.

Still trying to contact MS by chat or phone to find out why the activation process did not replace/repair/upgrade the existing free version of Office 356, which was installed on my newly purchased laptop during HP's "automatic" start-up. Got the new software Office 356 suite eventually but not the increased cloud storage I paid for. Spent an entire afternoon trying various re-installs and reading pages of unrelated "tips' for everything but my problem. Their faith in their auto-installer and the lack of useful troubleshooter makes me dread any MS package installation. MS seem too busy making sure they force you into paying for an upgrade or additional storage first and ask questions (good luck with that) later. I used to manage 20+ PC programmers so I am fairly computer literate and this installation interface was truly horrible.

Unusual

Going from Windows 10, to Windows 11 THEN to Office 365 was a challenge and hopefully in the not too distant future I'll become more familiar with the full suite.

Issues on features using "connected experiences"

I have some ongoing problems with various features of Microsoft 365 Personal that use the "connected experiences" features on the menu. Unfortunately, there is no customer support for customers using this product if you are using the Personal version. NONE.

Frustrating, directions unclear

It’s frustrating and difficult to activate this product. Amazon instructions are terrible. It says you don’t get a refund even if you cancel the subscription within a day. Once I realized they sent an email to activate it things went better. The directions should be clearer and activation process should easier.

Doesn't align with Microsoft 2024's Microsoft 360

technical issues galore with microsoft 360 on windows 11 home. There seems to be a lot of glitches, such as syncing information. passwords and security issues. Ad infinitium.

Extremely difficult to use

Absolutely HATE this. Difficult to use, alters old files, hides them where ever it wants to never be found again. Regret buying and will not renew.
