I bought this lamp for my teen daughters' bedroom. We love the smaller "daughter" light, and it is perfect sitting next to her vanity. I was worried the gold would not be attractive but it is not a bright shiny gold, it's a dull metallic and very modern looking which is what we wanted. I agree with the reviews that it was tricky getting it to stand straight during assembly but we finally did. Any lamp you get for this price that has to be assembled would probably have a similar problem. I also had a hard time finding a dimmable 150 watt lightbulb. I ended up getting 100 watt which is still plenty bright. I couldn't find dimmable LEDs, but I will keep looking and try to replace them. She absolutely loves it!

Good lamp. It offers plenty of light and is sturdy/heavy construction. Looks nice in my son's new apartment.

I love this lamp! It's stylish (I bought the brushed nickel) and exactly what I was looking for in my living room. It's got the top lamp for overall room lighting plus the task lamp which I have pointed down to the spot on the couch where I like to read. Really nice quality for the price. I had a little trouble putting it together. One section didn't want to thread on right. But my husband messed around with it until he got it to work.
