Watched for this style of lamp for 2 yrs to replace disintegrating plastic version. Small guest bedroom/computer room needed a ceiling light and a reading light. This lamp is solid weight, has glass globes, is available in multiple metals, and up-light can be dimmed. Tight in my corner (wide top shade), but works fine. Was able to use 50/100/150 bulbs owned. Not necessary to purchase dimmable as suggested.

this is a great lamp.....surprised that it actually takes 2 bulbs, 150 Watt each for a total of 300 watts! extremely bright will really light an entire average size room. The dimming switch will only dim so far so even at the lowest dimmer setting the light is still fairly bright

Great looking lamp. Not knowing where the choices were, I ordered the wrong finish (brass) which needed to be shipped to me. Once I discovered my error, I re-ordered the correct finish (brushed nickel) which was in stock, purchased it, assembled it and returned the shipped order when it arrived. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and the excellent customer service I received.

This lamp is awesome and very much worth it. I am so happy with the quality and the functionality of this lamp! The smaller light on the side is brighter than the top but the top has the dimming function which is actually really nice.

Great lamp. Easy to assemble; however it took me an hour to open the box and get the pieces out - less than 15 minutes to assemble.

The lamp Is absolutely beautiful for the price. I was skeptical about buying it after I read the reviews, that it was hard to assemble. The reviews were incorrect. It was very simple to assemble. The dimmer switch feature is very nice, it is sturdy and lights up my living room really well. It was a great purchase.
