Batteries last for at least four hours each and I have to it came with two steering is perfect I weigh 207 pounds and it holds me with no problem I’ve even had a small child sit on my lap I went all day through an amusement park and only had to change the battery toward the end of the day I went all through the Columbus zoo and didn’t have to change the battery till the end of the day everywhere I go people are amazed how strong lightweight and easy to use and one thing I really love is it does it beep when you back up and I know that’s supposedly a safety feature but it’s annoying and I can turn and look while I back up I added a cup holder the basket holds quite a bit the seat is full-size and it will hold a bag on the back of it where you put your feet it is perfect the handlebars adjustable I couldn’t be happier with it it has a Belle in case you’re coming up on someone so they know that you’re behind on because it’s quiet and it also has a meter on the front that you can check to see how much battery you have left I love the way the extra battery stores up under the seat all you have to do a stop reach under the seat grab your new battery reach around back take the old battery out put a new one in and then store the dead battery under the seat and keep going I went to an amusement park with it I can take it all the way up to the platform because it’s so much tinier than most of the big Gotti ones it’s welcome anywhere you go I couldn’t say anymore about it the seat is very comfortable it folds down it came with a lock and I can lock it up so that no one can take it anywhere I go that was a nice for them to give me a lock I recommend this to people who are ambulatory and can transfer them self and can lift it out of their car you can lift the body without a seat on it and even without the battery packs it’s very light then when you set it up you lock the middle frame put your seat on it has a pin to put the seat height you put the steering column where you want it it locks in the place and then put your batteries in it’s so easy I am weak as a feather and I can do it so most people that are ambulatory can use it best money I’ve ever spent it’s made the world of difference in my life I don’t hurt anymore when I’m out in recreational places with my grandkids parks amusement parks museums zoo I am amazed now I don’t get anxiety when I’m invited to go I just go

This scooter is awesome! It is lightweight enough to take on trips (rent an SUV, push the handlebars down and you’re golden). Went to Seattle, Vancouver, BC and Vegas so far. Nice to have a battery back up but never needed it. Was able to drive it up to the door of the plane. Brought the batteries in with me. They placed the scooter with strollers and such and they brought it out when deplaning. So easy. One caveat, it can tip easily. I have use of one leg and am very coordinated so I can catch myself. Wouldn’t recommend for highly disabled.

After having issues with mobility for the past few years, it became apparent that I would need a mobility scooter.I work for a company where I spend a majority of my day visiting various field sites and am on my feet walking long distances at a time. I also am required to travel to visit other sites in various cities.I clearly needed a scooter that was mobile, dependable and lightweight (as I would not be able to rely on someone lifting the unit to my car). This is where the Super Handy Scooter comes in. I waited on writing this review, because I am a natural born skeptic and wanted to see if the device was worth the hype...and I'm here to tell you IT IS!!!First are the pros: The scooter is light, even if you don't disassemble, it's only 35/36 lbs. I can easily lift it into the back of my Ford Escape SUV after usage without any help. It's fast, faster than mere mortals on foot and quick to reach the max drive speed. Ive had no problem using or maneuvering it in tight/crowded places. The battery is reliable and long lasting. One thing I'm a fan of, is that the charger is a direct wall plug without a bulky/convoluted system to recharge (makes it so easy to travel with). There is only a small bicycle bell and no back up alert system. I put as a pro since no one pays attention to those backup noises and I end up getting a head ache from the sound. It's easy to gate check (approved for airplane travel). Lastly, it is reliable. I have yet to have a failure and highly doubt I will in the future. Now for the cons: This is a 3 wheeled scooter that can be prone to tipping. I've only had this issue when I've bent over the side and tried to pick things off the floor (really just stems from my laziness). The levers that are used to attach the steering post and adjust the handlebars can become loose. The lever has a resistance fold system, where you can tighten/loosen the screw. After a lot of usage and transporting, it can become looser. It is not so much a con as more of a caveat, and just something I tighten prior to using. Lastly, I tend to get stopped pretty often from people curious about the scooter. I'm always really excited to speak about my experience, but it's much more than I am normally use to.Bottom line: Great mobility scooter at a phenomenal price.

I bought this scooter for my wife when we go to Disney World. She can still get around well , but poops out before we can do all the things she would like to do. We took our Maiden Voyage a couple of days ago and everything was great. We spent about 4 hours at Magic Kingdom and when all over then took the monorail to Epcot and the first battery gave out. So just pop the second battery in and spent a couple hours their and still had juice left in the battery. I added a back pack to the back of the seat and also a back pillow. We had room in the front basket for a small cooler bag which we put grapes, cheese, crackers and a couple of bottles of water. Because of Super Handy we had a great time. Here are the things that I really liked about the scooter. First the 37 lbs, all I had to do to load it in the back of my SUV was lower the telescopic handle bars and lift the scooter and set it in the back of the SUV. And the reverse for taking it back out. Second I liked the thumb control for the speed, it was easier to control the speed than with the knob that is on other scooters. I also liked the free wheeling that takes place when you are going down a incline. I told my wife it was just like breaking with the hand break on her bike. I reminded her each time she need to break and did great. This free wheeling also makes it so easy to move it around to park it in tight places. My wife found the foot pegs comfortable to use. The small basic no frills look of the scooter got a lot of attention. Like can that scooter to the job. Well I was happy to tell those folks that Super Handy did everything that was advertised. People wanted to know where I got it and who much it cost. The only downside is that I didn't know about Super Handy 6 months ago. I hope the durability of the Super Handy scooter will meet my expectations as well. Signed retired couple in our mid seventies and loving life.

Small, light, super easy to manuver. So many people came up to ask where we got them. We could easily get through crowds and all the aisles in the shops quickly. We bought a third for another family member but the brakes failed on that one and they had to stop with their feet. That one was returned. We ordered an extra battery. It comes with 2 though. 3 batteries lasted 14 hour days at Disney. No key. DO NOT LOCK IT UP AT DISNEY. THEY WILL CUT YOUR LOCK. ALTHOUGH IT IS LIGHT, IT IS NOT LIGHT ENOUGH FOR A CAST MEMBER TO LIFT AND CARRY IT TO ANOTHER AREA!!!! ESPECIALLY, IF YOU PUT ALL YOUR STUFF ON IT. No one ever bothered ours. I did have a PacSafe Vault on the front. You put your things inside and lock THAT up.I have a torn meniscus at the moment and I have used it at work also. If you don't put a platform on it like some people do, it is much easier to navigate in crowds, lines, etc. You don't want to be cutting into people's legs. People do walk right into you at Disney without looking. I had to put my foot down to avoid being knocked over. With a platform, I would not be able to do that. Tired parents were coming up to me and saying, "I need one of those!"

I bought my SuperHandy mobility scooter three months ago and use it now mainly for vacations. I bought it to ease spinal stenosis pain during our daily 2-mile walks. Soon after buying it, however, I realized I had missed the seemingly obvious problem that I would not be getting any exercise. So, I ordered a Mobo Cruiser Shift that I could pedal and saved this for vacations. There are many reasons that the SuperHandy is valuable for improving mobility on vacations as well as for anyone who is unable to pedal.1. It is lightweight, small, foldable, and detachable (I can easily get it into my sedan’s trunk or onto an Amtrak car without exceeding the 25 pounds limit that my orthopedist recommended).2. It is small enough to go in and out of the aisles at almost any store (a crowded bookstore owner remarked that she had never seen a mobility device that could get by her piles of used books without having her move them).3. It has storage for a spare battery under the detachable seat that doubles the duration for rides (it was not worn out after a seven-hour day exploring Washington DC).4. The power is enough to get it up handicapped ramps and country roads.5. The brake works well and has an excellent parking-brake setting (useful for stopping on inclines or storing in a vehicle).6. It is durable (in my 50 or so hours of usage, I have not had to adjust anything).7. The accompanying bag is handy, accessible, and lightweight. My only thought for improvement relates to the wheel size being so small that sidewalk cracks and building thresholds create rough jolts. If the diameter could be doubled without adding weight, it would be more comfortable and easier to maneuver.Strangers often comment on how convenient my SuperHandy is. A man who must make full-time use of his motorized wheelchair even commented one morning “I need one of those.”
