should have a hand break on both handles for safety

I found it easy to maneuver, very comfortable and nice to always have a fresh battery on board. I bought this so I could go on cruises with my daughter and thought I had read the fine print, but, evidently, not. Cruise cabin doors are 22 inches wide and this little scooter is 22 inches wide AT THE FRONT, but 23-24 inches at the rear axle. To get it into a ship cabin, It has to be picked up and slid in sideways. That is a nuisance, but I will just have to live with doing that since I haven't been able to find a scooter that matches all of my requirements at a price I can afford. Just be warned, it is a problem with cabin doors. Another problem on the ship is those low metal plates that divide the flooring and those ribbed metal and carpet strips on the LIdo deck. Those really rattle your teeth no matter how slowly you go. The metal plates on the floor are about an inch high, at most, and I continue at my normal speed until I started having some serious back pain. Then I learned that I have to EASE over them to spare my back. Springs under the seat would be very nice, but would just add to the weight. This one is 34 lb and about the limit for this old gal. I love that with two batteries on board, I always have a fresh one handy.

I'm a 68 year old guy with COPD, other age related heslth isdues, and recently diagnosed with lung cancer. (Treatments going well, and expect full recovery) I am on supplemental oxygen 99% of the time. I have been resisting getting a mobility scooter to help me get around, even though I do use the less than reliable ones they have for public use at the big box stores. Anyway, it was getting more and more difficult to go any distance without frequent stops to rest and catch my breath. I saw this gem on Amazon Prime Day at a reduced price and figured why not. I can always return it if needed. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Was super easy to assemble (probably about 10 mimutes tops). Charged the batteties (two provided). Went for a couple if test drives up and down the driveway and I was all set to go. It fits (fully assembled) in the back of my Expedition, and if I have to I can get it in and out without help. The basket on the front is a perfect size for my portable Inogen oxygen concentrator.Everyone that sees it is surprised by it's speed, size, ease of use, and most especially the price...just like I was.No issues at all so far. Only thing is I would like to have another charger to have a back up if needed. I see extra batteries available on Amazon and on the manufacturer's site, but can't find the charger. Anyone else out there have a source or suggestion? Thanks. And if you are thinking about getting one of these stop thinking and do it. You won't regret it.

I bought this scooter to use when traveling to places that require a lot of walking. I have knee replacements and need hips next....can't walk long distances or stand for very long. I took it on a trip to NYC where I knew my group would be walking alot. This scooter is a breeze at airports and folds up to fit in most lyft and uber rides. It comes with 2 batteries but I bought a third because i didn't want to get stuck someplace. Every morning I had all three batteries charged and they took me thru a full day of sidewalks, airports, and museums, etc. (it's smart to charge one at lunch if you can). Overall, smartest purchase I could have made!

This is an excellent device for patients with limited mobility. It's peak performance is on smoothly paved surfaces. It is very maneuverable, very good in tight spaces and the learning curve is not steep at all. it handled gradients well, it was simple to assemble, when folded it fit easier in my limited space trunk than other much over hyped walkers advertised being able to be folded. The transportability was one of its best features. it's powerful enough for most gradients and just takes some getting used to as is any new device. I haven't tested the limits of its battery life but have been very spoilt by the comfort of having a fully charged spare under the seat. It is surprisingly light weight and convenient. It performs very creditably on less even surfaces like pavers and sidewalks, but isnt the smoothest ride as is to be expected as it doesnt come with shock absorbers, but i didnt see it advertised for that so I'm not disappointed. This is NOT an off-road vehicle, and for the same reason i wouldnt take my family sedan on a mountain trail, I wouldnt take this down the heavily grassed garden path.I didnt have the issue with the looseness of the handlebar I saw others describe as it is very adjustable. For the cost, I found it to be great money for value. That's my $0.02.

Having recently retired, my mother was looking forward to traveling. She was devastated when rheumatoid arthritis started to attack her spine, leaving her unable at times to walk a few dozen feet to her kitchen. I looked into wheelchairs and traditional scooters, but it's 9 steps just to get into her home and there's not enough room to build a ramp. Then I found the SuperHandy Folding Scooter. It was extremely easy to assemble. It has a small turning radius making it easy to drive around my dining room table, through the kitchen and around my living room. It's light weight and I was able to carry it down 5 steps to my garage, fold it up in a few minutes, and load it into the trunk of my compact car.I called our airline and they accept the battery and, due to size, will allow us to bring 3. (There's no additional charge for transporting the scooter and it does not need to be folded up/in a bag/box.)Due to our trip itinerary, we plan on walking around 16 miles a day, we need a third battery and a second charger (taking the 2 batteries and charger with us during the day excursions and having a 3rd battery charging in the room for nighttime activities). I wasn't able to find a second charger for sale on it's own, so I reached out to Customer Service. Paul responded within a day and is sending us a second charger. So we are all set.My mom can use this scooter in her home. It will also enable her to go shopping on her own, as well as participate in family road trips and vacation overseas.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this scooter (for my Mom) for our 3 days trip, and very amazed with this product. Our car has no ramp, and I don’t want to buy a carrier rack. The main reason that I consider while choosing scooter is the weight, and this 100% fits the criteria. Very glad I bumped into this mobility scooter while searching for how many days. This product is the cheapest lightweight scooter that I found. Aside from that, it is very easy/quick to assemble. It took us less than a minute to do it. This scooter is only 35lbs which is very good because I can carry it alone (incase no one can help), and put it in our car. This scooter is very nice because we can put it in our small SUV’s trunk without disassembling it, and it still fits. This scooter comes with 2 batteries, 1 removable bag for purse or water bottles. The chair is very comfortable, and adjustable on your preferred height. Very easy to maneuver. My Mom never tried using one before, but she drove it without issues. She used it to our Wisconsin Dells trip, to stores, and to the Doctor’s appointment, and she got a lot of compliments about this scooter. They’re amazed how light it is. Consider this product, and you won’t regret.P.S.Thumbs up to their customer service. Very polite, and helpful. They respond right away to your questions about the product.

So happy, great scooter. My 92 year old dad finally has freedom. Easy to operate and light as well, took awhile to show him how to use it but now he knows it all. Very satisfied with this product, I’d recommend it to anyone who needs to get around the neighborhood (4 hour battery with a 4 hour spare)It truly changed his life.

We were looking for a scooter that we can carry without problem because we have back, heart and arthritis problems. You nailed it with this one. It is light and easy to carry in the car without much effort. The batteries aren’t heavy. Many people with moving disabilities have other health issues that not allowed them to carry heavy things or have lifters in their car so I think that this scooter is a great solution.
