This blender looks great. Greatness ends there. Having to push "safety switch" whenever you pause the blending is a minor, though consistent annoyance. The biggest issue though is that the blender simply does not blend very well. Using it to puree tomatoes for a sauce is frustrating as inevitably the exercise leaves significant chucks in the sauce. For hearty vegetable soups the same holds true. The unit really struggles to puree and the constant need to hit the safety switch after slight pauses, well, I already went there.
