The lid does not lay flat at all and does not allow for steam to build. I’ve had to pile towels on top in order to keep temp correct inside to cook well. This means someone has had to be home the entire time dinner was cooking and around the crockpot so it didn’t set fire to the kitchen. I will be returning this one and getting one with a secure lid. No wonder this one was on sale. Such a disappointment.

Just opened my package today after it’s been sitting on the shelf to find the ceramic plate inside has a deep chip inside.

The lid randomly shattered in the middle of the night. We couldn't understand how and why the lid shattered. This is a big safety concern and really hope this company looks into these issues since I've read other reviews and people had the same issue.

Had this crockpot for less than 2 years and it stopped working

This cooks WAY too high on LOW. It completely ruined my dinner because it cooked way way too fast. Do not recommend.

After 14 hours on high beans where still not cooked what a waste this crockpot is going in the trash.

Doesn’t work. 3 months into using jt stopped heating.

The outside silver part of this crockpot gets way too hot. It burnt my child when she brushed up against grabbing a snack off the counter. I returned it

I am returning it because the crock doesn't sit level in the aluminum holder and the cover moves a lot on the crock and almost seems too small for the crock.

The outside of the pot is dangerously hot! I burnt my finger and all I can think about it my daughter reaching on the counter and burning herself. I don’t feel comfortable with leaving it on my countertop to cook without constantly keeping my eyes on it.. and at that point what is the point of a slow cooker? It also takes forever to cool! Going on 4 hours and my potatoes and carrots are still rock solid.
