Mom of three
Used once & the ceramic stoneware broke. Can't find a replacement may have to buy a different brand... not happy

I purchased this Crockpot because of the size and was very happy the four times I used it. Until the ceramic pot broke in half while cooking. It occurred during the day when I was working. I am so grateful I didn't have a fire because the roast was charcoal when I got home.

Used about 5 times. Worked great. Took top off tonight and the lid just SHATTERED!! Doesn't seem to have a replacement lid available.

I have had this for 4+ years and use it regularly and have rarely had any issues! The other day we learned the low setting no longer works after we set some venison in to cook overnight. Not sure what the problem is but this is pretty frustrating.

This item burner my hands. The outside of this really gets very hot. I would not recommend only because the outside stainless is very hot. I returned this item.

I only gave this a two - but wanted to give it a five... I love using a slow cooker, particularly for soups, pulled pork and corned beef. I decided to try the 7 quart size for those and was really happy with it until the black stoneware cracked. My smaller crock pot has lasted 30 years, so I was disappointed to lose my newest one.
Crockpot less
I have had several crockpot brand slow cookers so I was excited to have received a 7qt cooker as a mouse warning gift. I have a 4 qt and 6qt but wanted something bigger for a family of 6!!! I finally decided to use it after a year and the stoneware cracked after one use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I recently purchased this crock pot for a family gathering. I've used this particular item once (but I have had many crock pot/slow cookers over the years). Upon preparing to use, I realized it only has 3 "legs," which makes it unstable. Rearranging my buffet took extra care as this crock pot is heavy when full, but cannot "slide" without risk of tipping. Who would design a product that's made to heat food (ie get HOT) with such an unstable footprint? It heated my food as expected, but I am quite disappointed in the design. Seems someone was not thinking.

First, it only gets up to 175 degrees on high, which is less than its supposed to. Secondly, the bottom inch or so has some different coating that isn’t nonstick. Agree with other reviewers that it’s a little unstable and tippy.

I have owned three Crock Pots since 1978. They USED to be an excellent appliance for working families. My last Crock Pot lasted almost 23 years! The most recent one, the 7 qt, is a substandard product. It has three legs which makes this unit unsteady to slide, so do not do it. It's cheaply made and is a light construct, which when dealing with a ceramic pot, should be heavier. I liked this unit because of the original simplicity known with these appliances. I do not need programmable, wifi, bluetooth, or any other technology....what's the point? To put dinner in the Crock Pot before work and it be ready when I get home is still the best idea from Rival. Disappointed in this unit is an understatement.
