Overall this is a nice high-quality case. When I first received it I was a little underwhelmed by the packaging and I expected to have some kind of protective film over in the clear part of the case. I found this to be the case on lower priced brand clear cases. I initially felt that it was somewhat bulky, but when I put it on my phone it gradually grew on me. I like the feel of it in my hands. It feels high-quality and sturdy. I truly believe this will protect my phone if I were to drop it. It was easy to slip onto my iPhone Xr and looks good with the red color mixed with black leather.I'm not sure if it will age well. Out of the box, it already had some minor scratches on it. If it wasn't for that I probably would've given it a higher rating.

This well-made and designed OtterBox Clear and Leather is my first OtterBox Case and I’m impressed, but not as much as I thought I’d be. I’m updating this after using it for a bit. Before I say anything negative, just want to get in that the protection level is top-notch and I suppose that’s what Otterbox is about. The pretty stuff may need some work for this “Statement series.”Now, for some downsides. The clear area is difficult to smudge, but it scratches WAY too easy. Somehow it got scratched from the inside, and I am always very careful. Also, the edge where the “leather” cuts off has pieces, almost like loose threads, shedding. It’d look much nicer -and worth the cost- if stitched and had a better quality appearance. The side buttons are pretty stiff as well.Other than those issues, it’s perfect for my white iPhone XR when I don’t want to cover the back. Everything on this case, besides the rubber side “front” edge with the buttons, is hard. The leather acts as a decent grip while holding. The sides do add some bulk and overall weight. Not much, but enough for me to feel my phone is safe, so I prefer it. If you want real protection, I think this is just about as sleek as you can get. I’ve always preferred the larger phones though, easier to grab and hold on. Comes nicely packaged in a smart slide box too.The shiny “piano” black edge is a nice contrast (especially if the phone is white or color) and lays next to the silicone/rubber lip that also covers the buttons. The lip edges over enough so you can lay your phone facedown without the screen touching whatever gross surface it may be on. The camera on back is protected by the cut-outs lip also.I’d recommend this clear leather OtterBox case, especially if you’re a fan of the brand and maybe looking for something more stylish and less bulky. The design is elegantly simple and modern and will compliment any phone.While, I admit, the tag seems a bit steep (for me, anyway), you can’t beat this security. Seems like that’s where most of the cost goes, as I feel they could up the quality on the more aesthetically appealing aspects, such as the back pieces. However, balancing all that out, I feel it’s an all around great case.

LOVE this case. The reason why I didn’t give it a full 5/5 is because it does scratch easily. On the clear part of the case there’s many scratches, but that’s reasonable because it’s meant to protect your phone.

Its Good for me, all i don't like is that its bulky but it serves it purpose and it also protects the screen and camera, has raised bezels

Not as sturdy as I’ve come to expect from otterbox, but that’s the sacrifice for a clear case I guess
