Was surprised when I opened this package. Found the MacBook to be much better than anticipated! Have purchased refurbished laptops before from other companies and found this one to be well above my previous experiences, both in the refurbishment and packaging; it was very clean and shipped with more than adequate padding. Did observe there were three tiny screws missing on the bottom, contacted the company’s customer service and was extremely pleased with their handling. They sent a package of the tiny replacements in a few days ! Extremely satisfied

laptop arrived on time and looks clean, almost new (some very tiny scratches near the mouse pad which you really have to hunt to find). There was a problem with the battery not charging, but the company got in touch with me within 24 hrs to help debug it (which worked) and also said that if that didn't work, I could get a refund and a paid return of this laptop (thank you!). recommended.

I purchased this refurbished used older model with keyboard as a training device for future purchases. It was a way to play around and better familiarize myself with that type of unit. My main device is an I Pad. I am very content with purpose of this purchase. When I upgrade in the future, it will most likely be Apple.

Being that Design, specs, performance, and battery life are the most important things to consider when shopping for a new laptop. I knew I hit a home run with this one because it meets all (4) of the prerequisites mentioned above. Of course the 15” screen was a “game changer” and lastly, everyone I know that “know” computers, they all want to check it out and compliment it, as if it’s a Beautiful Woman! Enough said…

I never leave reviews. Never. I was really skeptical at first. I thought it was a scam to be honest. But I gave in thinking if it was Amazon would just refund my money back. I received that laptop and I was sooooo excited. I work from home and I have my own office and a whole set up. But working at the pool sure sounds nice sometimes. When I opened the packaged right away I put it on charged and turned it on. It turned on but the screen was just grey. Automatic heartbreak. I took a picture and sent it to Amazon. Amazon said give the seller 48 hours to reply. But of course I messed with it and the next day I finally was able to get it to “work” I put all my info and BAM I was in. However, it was running incredibly slow. I told my husband this is not right something is wrong with it. So I contacted Amazon again and they told me I have to wait another 48 hours I was like okaaaay. So I reached out to Apple support and and Apple support confirmed the problem and said the hard disk was no good or not in. I unscrewed it and confirmed it was in there. Found a $20 hard dish on Amazon and wanted to just fix it myself. Well. Amazon didn’t want to do anything for me and without telling me - every time I contacted Amazon it gives the seller another 48 hours to contact me. So now it’s been a week and a half. Finally received a response. They said they could replace it or do a refund. I didn’t want either I didn’t want to have to wait longer. But the seller offer two day shipping. I accepted. I received it. I love it. Amazon gave me a hard time. The seller was very understanding and just wanted me to be satisfied. I was a bit pushy because Amazon made me feel like I lost $200. Or just for me to return the item. I know they have protocol to follow but Amazon had me wait a week and a half for a resolution then just offer to return it was quit disappointing on Amazons behalf. I’d definitely repurchase from them. And to the Seller, thank you so much. I am very appreciative!

Item arrived in excellent condition, os Catalina was installed, worked as expected, was very slow with only 4 gigs of ram, I installed 16gigs, is much better, will install SSD and it will fly

It was a gift for our daughter/ and we are completely satisfied with the service and the computer

So far so good, quality is good, barely any scratches. Had one software issue where I couldn’t get past the terms and conditions screen but was able to bypass it

Even though they are now 10 years old, there are many reasons to get a 2012 MacBook Pro. The main reason is user serviceability. If you are the least bit handy and can follow instructions on ifixit or youtube, you can easily replace the hard drive with an SSD, the battery, the RAM, and the optical drive. Once you install an SSD, the computer is nearly as fast as a brand new one. Another reason is a dependable keyboard. This computer came out before Apple's extended fiasco with unreliable keyboards, which unfortunately took them years to abandon. Another reason is, if you happen to want a built-in optical drive, you have to go back this far. Another reason is, it has more than only two USB-C jacks; Apple later got super-minimalistic on how few jacks their laptops have, so you would need a whole fistful of adapters for different peripherals. Of course the size and weight of this computer is a little clunky compared to the sleek newest lightweight models from Apple, but they are certainly portable. I hove gotten this exact laptop for many family members - wife, kids as they hit high school and college. For the most part, they have done fine. The only major issue has been college art classes that require the latest adobe software and the ability to work quickly with HD video. Kudos to Certified Macs for selling a clean, reliable computer. It even came with a 240GB SSD, when the listing said it would have 128GB HDD. Of course, I am upgrading it to a 1TB SSD, which now run around $80.
