These used to be higher quality. Now after 5 months, all the red tips of the bristles have come off and the ends are bent.

The smaller barrel is great! The detachable brush head is a great feature if you need to dry your hair a bit more before using the brush. BUT after using it only three times the brush head pops off by itself while in my hair. The locking mechanism is not strong enough. I’m really disappointed because it makes my hair look great but trying to put the brush back on while it’s hot isn’t worth the hand burn. I wish I could return but I threw the box away.

I’ve owned this for 5 months and use it 1-2 times per week. While it dries my hair nicely the brush constantly detaches from the dryer while it’s in my hair. I have short thin hair so there’s no reason for this to happen.

It’s very heavy. I would not recommend buying this item. It made my hair straight, but it does not have volume. I separate my hair in sections, and I used mousse. Don’t waste your money.

I bought this “new and improved” version and regret it. It dries my hair well but the brush head is always falling off! It’s annoying because not only does it make the process take longer, but the brush head is hot to pick up and reattach. It’s not worth the price.

After my long, thick hair obliterated the bristles on the original version after about a year, I upgraded to the 2.0. I immediately fell in love with the medium heat setting. Unfortunately, my hair was no match for this version either. Within a few months the detachable head started bending at the base as I would run it through my hair; ultimately it broke off. The only reason I did not rate it a one star is because I still think it is a great styling tool; just not for my hair type.

Ehhh, not great. Really didn’t live up to the hype of shiny, smooth hair. Left my hair rather frizzy. Also, the image on the outside of the box makes it seem like the brush will be round, but the brush head is actually large and oval-shaped. This design would probably work well for someone with long hair but it didn’t work great for my shoulder length hair.
