I’ve had this coffee maker for like a year and the last time I turned it off the light was off but the burner stayed on. I didn’t notice until the next morning when the closer I got to it I was smelling something scorched. I kept trying to turn it on and off but it stayed on. I unplugged it and smoke started coming out of the water reservoir. I plugged it in again just to check and it doesn’t work anymore. I cleaned it every time it said to. I’m just glad it didn’t start a fire.

Not sure who designed the buttons and the setting for this coffee maker, it took me an hour to finally get what I thought was the auto brew along with all the other settings. That should have been my first clue to just box it up then. The instructions say to hold buttons for 5 seconds but nothing happens. At least that's what I think the instructions said - very poorly written ( my husband writes instructional procedures for a living). It took several attempts to even get the buttons to work. The auto brew feature doesn't work. If you have an auto brew feature on a coffee maker, you want to set it one time and not have to reprogram every day. The coffee was not hot even at the hottest plate setting. There's no option to turn the hot plate back on to keep the pot warm. This is a lousy coffee maker and doesn't event deserve 1 star.

The coffee maker has a great look, but looks can be very deceiving. other than the look it is junk. Had the pot 2 days and already the warmer plate doesn't work properly and it is not very hot. it's going back never to purchase this brand again. Don't waste your time or money!

This coffeemaker has the absolute worst user interface that I have used. The programming is non intuitive and the flat panel buttons work poorly. Will not seem to hold programmable start time and the warmer shuts off no matter how long I set it for. This unit replaced another Braun that stopped working one or two months post warranty.

Bought this product just vefore Christmas and April 7, it dies. Not impressed. Trying to clean it--it won't work. Try to re-set it, nothing.

Worst coffee maker ever!!!!!! Don’t waste your money on this.

The black part of the carafe and the side of the carafe dislodged against the glass, i can no longer use this carafe. I had to gorilla glue it and when i did a cleaning with the machine it again came apart.

Water leaking out the bottom! And the push button screen for settings is difficult to use

horrible to program, now not working after 5 months WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY

Lasted almost 6 months, then started getting error code e1. Per recommendations online we unplugged overnight, but still got the code the next day. Tried cleaning the unit, but still got code, unplugged again, next day the unit was dead. While it worked made good coffee, but to many steps to program auto-brew. Second Braun coffee maker in two years, switching to another brand.
