My cats love this soft, warm pad indoors or outdoors. It’s their favorite place to sleep. It washes well, it’s soft and warm and I’ve already had a couple that had lasted for seers years! An excellent purchase.

It's the perfect size for an adult size cat. My momma cat loved it so much she gave birth on it

This arrived just yesterday, and it's already a hit. Kitty doesn't like soft surfaces (never sleeps on the bed or sofa, and prefers carpets), but winters are cold and I've been trying to find something warmer for her to sleep on when I turn down the thermostat. First of all, it's super cute (I got the gray leopard version). Cozy faux-fur on one side, black Sherpa on the other - soft, but not too much padding (think baby quilt). 22x19 size is plenty big for a chunky 14-pounder. The price was so good, I got two (there is no such thing as too many places to nap). It says that there's reflective material inside but it's not too "crinkly" - you barely hear anything, even when folding. She is sweetly napping in her favorite spot under the bed (where she dragged the mat because i didn't place it exactly to her liking). I'll be definitely getting more as gifts!

For years I kept an electric blanket under the cat beds at the foot of my bed. Evil stares when it auto shuts off. Of course our spoiled clouder of 5 expects this treatment in the summer as well. We adopted two 8 week old siblings and were set to get an additional blanket for the “nursery”. Instead I decided to give these a try. No electrical cords and far less expensive. As soon as they were out of the box all cats gave them a go. Everyone including the kittens love. I felt underneath one cat and it really is cozy in there. I bought 4 and will get an additional 3 so every one has their own.

This is a good sized and well made mat for small pets up to around 20 lbs, although it isn't very thick so it should go atop a comfy bed or at least a folded towel if there is a hard surface underneath. It is stitched diagonally across so the heat reflective innards won't get bunched up after washing (unlike some other mats). Our arthritic chi mix loves it. Cats love these too. This would be a great item to donate to your local shelter or no kill rescue. If you need an actual heating pad, there are ones sold here on amazon (http://smile.amazon.com/Thermo-Kitty-Mat-12-5-25-Mocha/dp/B000S9M2U4) but be aware that the unit is much narrower than the pad it fits in. if you have large or multiple pets needing warmth, get the inexpensive and washable Sunbeam comfy toes heater (compare price at your wall mart - usually much cheaper than amazon). It doesn't have the annoying auto-shutoff most others have. the twin is great for a loveseat, and queen/king for a regular sofa. http://mobile.walmart.com/ip/21596956

All but one of my cats love this little “bed”. I wouldn’t personally call it a bed, it just isn’t plush enough to count as such. It’s more like a small blanket for a cat to lie on. It does seem to get warm quickly and keep them cozy. The one cat that doesn’t like it usually doesn’t like sleeping on strange textures (don’t even think about having a memory foam bed!) It does crinkle slightly, and the feel of the blanket is a little stiff. But my biggest scaredy cat has no problems with it so it’s great for cats, a little weird for humans. Right now I folded the blanket in half to make it a little thicker and it’s in a cardboard box under my bed acting as a nice little sleeping hole for my cat. They’re happy, I’m happy!

My cats love this! So much in fact, that I am ordering a second one. There's usually 2 on it, and then a third one with as much of his body on it that he can get on it.Sometimes they re-adjust and one lays width-wise at the back, and the other two lay length-wise, butted up against the one at the back. The pad is not huge, so it takes some working together if they're going to get 3 on it. These are approximately 7 - 8# cats that can fit 3 on it. My 15# Ragdoll would never fit on it with another cat. I have one Ragdoll that I actually got it for, that is cold all the time, and she is on it constantly. I have it laying on my couch. I don't notice the crinkly sound so much, that other people have talked about. And apparently the cats don't notice it either, since everyone always wants on it. It was a good purchase!

I bought two for two cats. They both seem to choose those to lay on all the time.

My cat loves her new self-warming pad! She has never been one to go off and lay down somewhere, preferring to be a "lap" kitty, but these thermal pads have changed that. Win for her and for me lol!
