Meh.... These require 4 AAA batteries and the light is not bright. Getting the battery compartment open was a struggle. However, the motion detector works fine.

These lights are good for handing on metal (eg. Stair railings, appliances, metal door or window frames, etc). Unfortunately I've had three of them just stop working for some reason. Brand new batteries didn't help, they just didn't work any more. I just bought a 2 pack so I hope these last longer than a year.
