You Won't Believe How Much Suction This Little Vac Has!

I've had my first Shark Hand Vac for a number of years. I've used it on the furniture, the floors, picking up visible lint, dust, etc. I decided to get a second one to use on cleaner surfaces such as cleaning the dryer lint trap and stray dog hairs on my appliances, i.e. not on the floor. I consider my Shark Hand Vacs a necessity and always up to the job. And so easy to empty!

I can't live without this handheld vac. With 3 Boston Terriers, there is fur all over the place, and this significantly helps in cleaning up. The attachments are easy to use, and it charges quickly.

I have a B+D handheld vac that I have had for quite a few years that has served me well, but I hate the cloth filter and the battery is going so it was time for a new handheld. That said, I am a proud owner of a Shark Duo Clean cordless vacuum that I bought years ago (when it came with 2 batteries!) and it is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Enter the Shark Wandvac. I was skeptical at first after reading many reviews, but knowing how happy I have been with the Shark vacuum, I said what the heck. I was so excited when I used it for the first time, I had to write this review. The suction is amazing and the design just works. I can't comment on battery life yet, as I've only used it on small jobs (not the car yet) but if it's anything like my other Shark's vacuum batteries, I have no worries. The only complaint my husband has is that it is not mountable on a wall, but not a deal breaker for me. If I experience any issues, I will update this review.

The item is on the pricier side but is a great hand held vacuum. Holds a a charge for a long duration without staying on the charger. Various accessories for different needs.

I know I know, no mother should ever get a vacuum for mother's day, however, after she had seen one at her mom's house, she wanted one. She loves it, it's kept in the pantry so it's small enough to fit but hidden so that guests can't see. Saves so much time on picking up little messes instead of having to get the big vacuum clean out.

I love this little hand vac. I needed it to pick up daily cat litter from around the house and vacuuming the non-carpeted stairs. I was not disappointed. The only issue I have is that it takes up a good bit of counter space. It's super easy to clean out the canister as well as clean the filters. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Move over, other vacuums, because the Shark WV201 WANDVAC Handheld Vacuum has stolen my heart. This little powerhouse is my new best friend in the cleaning world. It's sturdy, offers outstanding suction, and its versatility is unmatched. I use it all the time and carry it firm room to room. Let’s not forget, it looks fantastic too. I love the design and it can sit out in your home. Move over, Dyson, because Shark is taking the lead!

I don't write reviews about products unless I like them or really hate them. I have never had a rechargeable hand vacuum that I liked enough to write a review about, but this one. I needed it because I take care of my 95 year-old mother who is bed-bound. She eats in her bed, and everyday I find her bed covered in crumbs (see photo). This vacuum and its attachments are perfect for the needs I have, and as a bonus it does an excellent job of collecting and sucking up hair! I know it seems expensive for what it is to some, but having purchased a half a dozen hand vacs in my lifetime, I can honestly say this one seems worth the price. It also has a very small footprint (see photo), and the charger is stabile and stores the attachments securely.

I read all the reviews and watched all the comparison videos

I hardly ever buy anything without doing research, these days. I did a lot of research on this purchase because the prices range from about $30 - $250 for the most popular brands of hand vacs. I have previously owned a hand vac that was a big let down, from a major name that everyone knows. At the time, I thought well, this manufacturer is well known for good products- should be safe to go with, but no. I was very disappointed with that unit- it had some major flaws for me, that I wanted to avoid this time. I want quality- I'm willing to pay a little more for something that will serve me well. I also have to balance that with how much it will be used. I was willing to pay the $250 for the top of the line in this category (although I didn't want to pay that much), if it met certain criteria. Some of these criteria are not shared by everyone. I live in a smallish condo- I don't have tons of space for everything I could want and certainly not out on the counters. My previous hand vac needed to always be plugged in, if I wanted it charged and ready. Who wants to wait 2 hours after a mess happens to charge something up, or have to deal with cords and finding plugs nearby? The problem with this, is it was large and ugly. It looked like one of the sad, older robots on the Jawa land crawler- some of you know what I'm talking about. It was an eye sore to look at, and took up a lot of counter space- so I wouldn't and sometimes couldn't leave it on the kitchen counter- I needed to store it somewhere, and it would invariably would not be charged when I needed it. Add to that, it just didn't work very well- it was awkward to hold, heavy and didn't have much suction- and on top of all that, didn't last very long. I had it about a year and then chucked it in the trash. Well I needed a new one, so I started to do my research. I watched all the youtube comparisons, read all the reviews, looked at what was online and in-stores. I compared prices, battery times, suction- style- every thing you could think of. The most expensive ones had some of the problems I mentioned above- you need a lot of space for these things, or you need a docking station that goes on a wall (I don't have a convenient place for that next to a plug)- otherwise the thing has to be stored...and I have bad memories of all that. It also turns out, the most expensive models don't really last all that much longer on battery than most of the others. What they do have, is great suction. So does this one, for it's size- it's one common thing that reviewers said about it, and they are right. I decided on this Shark, and I'm quite pleased with it. It is stylish- modern, sleek, light. It's not an eye sore sitting on my counter and doesn't take up much space. Because of all that, it's always charged and ready for little clean ups. I actually clean up all the small leaves that land on my outdoor patio with it, when it gets windy here (I stress that they are small leaves). It does a satisfyingly decent job of this. It's true I have to empty it several times when doing this- the cup is small- but's a one-click and drop easy, 2-second clean. The 10 minute charge is just enough to clean my whole patio of small leaves and tiny twigs. It's actually fun to use, like a Harry Potter magic wand- I look around the house hoping to find some small crumbs or something so I can zap it. It's long enough that I can suction up a cobweb dangling down from the ceiling on occasion. I'm very pleased with my purchase- Shark has a winner, here.
