Continuous driver errors on my Dell E6400. No problems after removing the device.

We connected this dongle today to our Windows 10 PC and it kept dropping the connection every few minutes. We called support and they had me download the updated driver for Win 10. However, even after doing so, it still drops the connection every few minutes. Very annoying. We are going to need to find another one that works.

This WiFi USB dongle did not work well for me. I installed the drivers and software from the included disk on my desktop and laptop. I disabled the internal WiFi. It connected at both 2.4 and 5.0 bands. Windows 10 reported good connection speeds. Signal strength was good as both were connected direct line-of-sight about 30' away from the AC1900 router. That's where the fun ended. Immediate and constant disconnects. Restarting the PC's would only provide re-connection for a short time. I tried several different broadband connections (including connecting to a WiFi extender) and all produced the same results.Maybe it is a defective unit but I cannot recommend this USB WiFi adapter.

Claims to be ideal for raspberry pi yet the correct drivers and instructions for installing on rpi2b with latest stretch raspbian cannot be found. I searched the included cd, the Tenda website and the internet and the closest I came was a blog post on the raspberry pi website that said to return it and get an adapter that actually is supported... The chipset is rtl8192eu which are not included in the raspbian distro.

Simply NO to every question about this device.

The connection is not consistent and fluctuates too much. ---- Going to look for a different adapter. ---- This adapter looks nice and seems well made but the performance is lacking

Sucks for Linux (Antix); the store's item is great in Linux (Antix, plug and play). From Amazon, it wasn't recognized at all! I had to go to the store again! Don't buy if you need for a Linux (Antix) system. Why different? Same exact model number... Can't trust Amazon for Wi-Fi USB devices?

First unit constantly disconnecting, was stuck in 802.11g mode (capped at 54mbs) there was no way to get it to connect and perform at ac speeds and I’m a networking geek. Downloads 10’ from the 500mbs ac router averaged about 20mbs. 5 stars to Amazon for immediately replacing the defective unit. The replacement was a little faster I saw 50-100mbs downloads but still the device didn’t connect at anything near ac speeds with the mfg driver from 2017 or the generic w10 driver from 2020. Interestingly enough using the device as a scanner it didn’t see any ac networks. Networks (mine and neighbors) reported 54mbs, 144, 216. Nothing close to what I knew those networks were capable of. You can go into device manager and configure the driver to connect at only ac but that doesn’t help. This device is cute and even sexy in appearance but is NOT what they claim. Not fast. Not AC. Not worth the $.

Do NOT buy if you have a MacBook. The install cd is stuck in my laptop and I can’t get it out. 😡 the device is USELESS.
