I've only used dual spinning beaters kind of mixers and found the idea of a single beater intriguing, that the beater spins around the bowl instead of the bowl spinning around the beaters. I've used hand mixers for years - you know the drill...hold the mixer, push it around the bowl trying to capture all the dry spots on the bottom and along the walls of the bowl while wishing I had a third hand to use a spatula to scrape the stubborn stuff into the blend. That awful sound when it smacks against the inside of an aluminum or ceramic bowl. This mixer doing the work instead of me, yeah. Sounded good. One of my Christmas traditions is a cheese ball. If you've ever made a cheese ball you know that even with the ingredients at room temp it's a bugger to mix by hand. No matter how you cut, slice or dice it, it's a bit of work and still never as smooth as one from the store. Using this mixer, I put the ingredients into the metal bowl, lowered the beater and let it do it's job. You know it's a winner when people ask for the recipe. It turned out better than any previous year's because the mixer blended all the ingredients into a creamy blend better than any I'd done by hand or with the hand mixers. When using it to make a cake, maybe it was impatience or just the way it works, but a couple time I stopped the machine to hand scrape the cake mix from the inside walls. It's a tight squeeze because the beater fills most of the bowl. Luckily I own a thin spatula or I would've had to lift the mixer head to get to the inside of the bowl. If you buy this, you'll definitely want a thin spatula so you can quickly jam the dry batter down while the beater is moving around. After all the batter is moist, it's divine to watch the machine do it's magic instead of me moving the mixer body around trying to ensure everything's evenly moist and blended. Even better is that I can walk away and tend to something else while the machine chugs along. I'm definitely a reformed handheld mixer person but still deciding if this single beater outperforms a two beater mixer. Maybe the lesson is no matter which one you use, there's still an amount of scraping to be done. Also, when adding ingredients such as the cheese ball mixture, be sure to open a spot in the middle of the bowl. For it to start, the mixer head has to click into place and can't do that if thick ingredients prevent it from dropping down far enough into the bowl.

I have to say I love this electric mixer. I recommend you watch thevideos on you tube but for a stand mixer at this price it is great it is plastic not steal. Hand wash all the mixing tools from the beater to the dough hook do not put in the dishwasher. It says this in the instructions, but I saw complaints about this in the comments. I use this to make my keto chocolate chip cookies and the many things that I cook on my keto diet. 1-3 Speed Dough Hook Dough hook is specially designed for yeast dough mixing and kneading easily and to achieve the effect of flipping so as to save your time and effort in hand kneading. You can choose the 1-3 speed and use the dough hook to make heavy mixtures(e.g. bread or short pastry) . 2-4 Speed Beater Beater is adopted to increase the contact surface of food and achieve the need of harmonic viscosity to quickly and thoroughly mix cake batter and cookie dough. The beater that need 2-4 speed perfects for the medium-heavy mixtures(e.g.crepes or sponge mixture) 5-6 Speed Whisk Whisk can quickly add air to soft whipped cream, boiled frostings and cakes with whipped egg whites so that the ice cream and cake will be better and lighter. You can choose the 5-6 speed to make light mixtures (e.g. cream, egg white, blancmange) You cannot beat the costway mixer for the price. They do have a 600watt mixer if you bake every week. This might be a good item to get a warranty on. If I think of anything I will update my review.

I've had this mixer for a few years now and still love it. It's been a true workhorse appliance and gets the job done efficiently. Very happy with this investment and glad I didn't overspend on KitchenAid...which is a great product, but this mixer performs spectacular for all my needs.

I really love this mixer. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that when you pull back the top to change out the different mixing tools, the paddle attachment scrapes the metal mixing bowl a little when you lower the top back into position. You can avoid this by paying one attention to where you stop the mixer so the paddle is frthest away from the edge of the bowl. But this is a minor inconvenience. The mixer works great. I've made cakes and cookies and bread with it. Works like a charm. It's much lighter than most mixers and is very stable during operation. I love it!!!

This is not a Kitchen Aid mixer. It has the same attachments as a Kitchen Aid. This mixer is made of plastic, but so far so good. It does a great job. The heavy bottom suction cups hold the mixer in place during mixing so you dont have to worry about it sliding. The only thing I dislike about this mixer is that the mixing attachments must be put on when the mixer is in a certain position (more centered in the bowl) since the bowl is small and there is not a lot of room when the mixer is in the up position putting on attachments.

For the price, you really can NOT complain - cheap looking? of course because it is cheap - you want expensive looking go buy a KitchenAid :) but honestly though, it looks FINE. like that is is not bulky. For a novice baker like me, who's been experimenting with macarons almost every other day, this has been a life saver. It does the job. It does seem to shake/vibrate when you put it on max speed but that's why there's suction at the bottom :) I love it. I may upgrade to KitchenAid 4.5 tilt head in the future, but that is probably 1-2 years from now. I wish I can buy an extra bowl and whisk though. But not a big deal.

The media could not be loaded. I don't know what to say, love this mixer! It is beautiful and efficient at the same time! Love the fact it comes with three different attachments and is super easy to swap them out. I never knew I needed suction cups on the base until they came on this mixer it’s genius! The instructions are easy to read and understand. So far, I’ve only used it for smaller projects but I’m so excited to get my cookie on with this beauty!

Just got it, immediately washed it and made oatmeal cookies. Didn't take it above number 2 on the dial. Used the paddle for wet and dough hook for the dry with the oatmeal raisins and nuts. I think it is going to work out just fine. Had a Kitchenaid and would not have another. They leak oil. And even tho I was going to replace the oil, could not get a frozen pin out. So trashed it. I took out the 4 year extended warranty on this. Am going to bake up a storm.

I bought this for my dad. He is retired and loves to bake and cook for his fellow senior neighbors. It is not too heavy for him and the motor works well. Good bang for the buck

DELIGHTED WITH THE GREAT BUY ON THIS COSTWAY KITHCHENAID LIKE MIXER. ARTHRITIC HANDS PREVENT ME FROM DOING A LOT OF HAND WORK AND I HAVE PUT THIS VERY FUNCTIONAL COMBO MIXER TO THE TEST WHAT A BOON TO MY BAKING AND COOKING. WORKS VERY VERY WELL AND I DON'T SEEM TO GET THE MOTION FROM HIGHER MIXING AS I FIND THE SUCTION CAPS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE HOLD IT FIRMLY. EASY TO USE AND EASY TO CLEAN FITS NICELY ON MY SMALL COUNTER. GREAT GIFT IDEA, TOO.
