VERY cool concept, and were used non-stop for about two days by my 12 year old before they were remitted to a shelf to collect dust. These were a great gift, but beware that they may or may not get much long-term attention.

The person that was gifted this said: I just dont like that it's not all different notes like some things are little beats instead of a note. Wish it could create a note for color variations.

Very cool concept and looks very nice-very pleasing esthetically. It also is very compact, light, and can be taken anywhere.However-I found it very hard to understand how to use it.I would have given it 3 stars only but really love the design and the idea.Bring back the written manuals!
