I love just about everything about this little speaker! I use it all the time even when I am inside my house, but don't need a larger, louder speaker. Even then, this speaker still gets pretty loud. Of course, if you are outside where there is more noise, others around you may not be able to hear it as well as they get further from you. It will otherwise be loud for you still. The battery lasts a while and charges quickly. And last but not least, the clip! Easy to use and the speaker overall is lighter when worn on a belt or fanny pack than I thought it was going to be. When outisde, I use it while hiking and roller skating and I can move and spin around without really noticing there is a speaker clipped to me. I am super happy I decided to go with this one!

Originally purchased the JBL 2 and returned it due to sound quality and purchased this bad a** little JBL 4. It’s perfect for paddling boarding or kayaking. We clip it to my SUP and have music for the entire day. We charge it on the SUP and good to go when needed. Highly recommend for Kayaking and paddle boarding.

So happy with the item I purchased a Camo Case and other items for it. ADVICE #1. *Recently I ordered a separate USB-C type cord for charging since the charging cord is so short (+ a small fanny & backpack with the same design). If purchasing an added cord, Make sure it's a USB C-Type (for the JBL Clip 4, NOT THE FLIP... I made that mistake.) Advice #2 I ALSO PURCHASED a (Camouflage) Case, Fanny & backpack for the "Clip 4" TO PROTECT IT FROM: damage or theft (all in the same camo design). This way I had where to clip the CLIP 4 plus carry a larger charging cord, my wallet, phone, and anything else without stuffing my pockets. It's a "Clip" Traveling Speaker so you need to "clip it" onto something when on the go; Makes sense, right? Great for hiking, camping, or anything else. Need to Protect this speaker since they're so expensive. With that in mind, this design is fun to accessorize. "Give it a limited edition look." Enjoy. :-)

This little speaker is perfect for biking. I like to be aware of the sounds around me so earbuds were not an option. While the iPhone has admirable speakers, it just does not give me the depth of sound that I want when biking. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money so this JBL speaker fit my budget. The sound quality is great. It’s not a Bose speaker, but it’s perfect for my needs. The fact that it’s waterproof is a big plus. I’ve only had it for a couple of days so I can’t comment about the battery life as yet.

I waited a while to post a review to be sure this speaker worked well. I love it! I dog sit, so I'm always in other people's homes. I wanted a speaker I could bring with me to listen to music and podcasts. It easily paired with my iPhone. I've used it many many times and it has traveled with me to several locations. I honestly don't believe any of the 1-star reviews that claim their speaker fell apart for no reason. This thing is pretty sturdy. The sound is great for both podcasts and music. Is it amazing? Of course not, it's a tiny little speaker. I have also clipped it to my pants while I do yardwork. The clip has given me no problems and shows no signs of breaking. This is a great little speaker for a reasonable price. Buy it.

We take it to the lake. Our boat has a radio, but… We have a 4 person tube we pull behind the boat & now the riders can have music to. We are able to leave the phone in the boat so it is safe and clip the JBL to the tube handle so we don’t loose it. It has work perfectly. We also use it at the sandbar while splashing around. The wide clip is great because it can be clipped to so many things.

This is the best speaker I have found yet to be my bear bell while hiking. I have music or a podcast playing to make sure wildlife know I’m around. Sound quality is similar to my wonderboom speaker but this is half the weight. The controls are amazing. Being able to skip songs with gloves on is a safety feature because we hike in extreme cold. Because the buttons are so easy to find, if you have this clipped to your backpack and you run, the bouncing around can sometimes press the buttons against the bag and accidentally turn it off or start Bluetooth pairing. This is an amazing little speaker.

I love the portability of this little speaker, the clip easily attaches to everything from the bike rack on my beach cruiser to the belt loops on my pants! Sound quality is great, with good bass and clarity when we are biking down the strand at the beach. Would def buy again. For something with a little more oomph I also have the Flip5 that is better suited for beach parties or even just around the house. Both are waterproof so work great in the shower too.

Love this little speaker! I put a rubber case sleeve on it (purchased from Amazon) and have dropped it once or twice accidentally, and it had great durability. I wanted a good speaker for the beach/hotel room when traveling, I was worried when it came and was so small, but the sound is amazing. I could never have it on full volume or I think I’d have noise complaints from others! The material is durable, the clip is wide enough to fit on any bag I own, I would definitely buy this again. The color choices are a plus, as well as the size for durability. This would fit in any beach or tote bag, but if you’re running short on room, it clips easily to anything! The battery lasted for hours, I never ran out of battery, after two days of usage I proactively charged it for an hour or so, I have used it for at least an hour 3 times since and no battery issue whatsoever. Great purchase, sound, and portability for the price!!
