Regulates itself as stated use spacesaving switch and keep dial low. Keeps my three rooms. Liv rm and bdrm kitchen at 75. Note:my liv rm kitch are one room. Love it. Sometimes it is cool to touch then feels slightly warm so regulates well. I am in apt so slight thermal effect there. Would leave about 12-15 inches all around but at low setting.

I received my heaters on a timely basis. Love the compact clean lines. I immediately plugged the heates to test them. I found one heated hotter and faster than the second heater (I purchased two at the same time). It still heated so I decided not to return it. Should it fail in the near future, I will contact the seller.

This got me through a very cold Texas winter when the furnace went out or electricity was out. It is easy to roll from living room to bedroom at night. Safe, efficient and effective.

I'm really very pleased already. We have some days of winds and storms, of the Pacific coast variety, cold down to upper 40s, while the dampness in the air accentuates its quality, and this arrived in time, actually early. I am using this heater in an L-shaped room, 25 feet by 14 at its widest part. I would say this heater is just right for the winter in this climate, as it takes all the feeling of chill out of the room, and can be cozy where you are near enough to feel the direct heat. Given the nice rollers on the feet, moving it a little for a desk or easy chair seating is nice to do. If you were in colder climates I have lived in, and somehow didn't have the heating their residences usually do, you'd likely want two of these for a room as large as I describe. However many you need, this heater has all the benefits expected of its design and power level: no noise (a click once or twice as things shift since unpacking), no drafts or only warmth in front of fans, full efficient heat value of the wattage, and that the residual warmth held in the oil continues to radiate long after the thermostat cycles, or the heater is unplugged. The entire room becomes nicely liveable, closer quite comfortable, and not dry, due to the calm convection of heat. It's good to feel comfortable. As far as safety, there all the right features, and given your home wiring or plug use isn't problematic, there should be no trouble with outlets. I specifically tested right away with several, and there is almost no noticeable warming of the plug, at full power switched on, so the heater and cord appear fine this way. A bad outlet can always cause problems, so be sure to check this way yourself. I didn't feel the need for remote controls, and don't once it's arrived, especially given the calm performance, and as those seem to be pretty poorly thought out anyway on many other designs. You'll know if you want features of another type of heater, but if you like the idea of this kind, here's one that should be good. I had a careful look at complaints before choosing, which are few on this brand and model, and responses, as you can.

There are a lot of mixed reviews for this heater. I have two of these and they work well. Yes there are the occasional click a pop as the metal expands and contracts, but other that that there is no noise from a fan becuase it doesn't have one. I have one in a 12x12 room that has a leaky garage door (you can see daylight along the sides) and it can with little effort keep that room between 60~64F with very little effort even when it's 0F outside. This is my chosen temp for this room as I use it as a brewery. The other one I have in my office which is a 16x12 converted shed. 2x4 construction with 3/4" ply as sheathing and 8' of sliding doors that don't make any kind of seal. Wall insulation is only 1/2 installed so most of the walls are exposed to the elements. There is a ceiling in place, but wasn't air sealed or insulated. With this being said, it could get the room to 42-46F when it was 28F outside. After air sealing the attic space I could get it to 42-46F when it was 18F outside. Now with with 6" of cellulose insulation in the attic, the space rapidly warmed this morning. 18F outside and 52F inside. 52F still sounds cold right? Remember that 50% of the space has 3/4 of ply between the inside and outside and there is an old fleece blacked covering 8' of sliding barn doors. I would say these heaters are doing a great job. On the subject of cost, that all depends on three factors: 1) How well insulated is your house is. If its drafty, thats because your loosing hot air to the environment and its being replaced with cold air. Air seal and insulate. 2) How much do you pay for electric. Live in N. Vermont and we pay 17.8c per kWh. (US average is 12.5c per kWh) This heater seem to run at 1000 watts which equates to me paying an additional $20 each month on my electric bill when running it for 10hrs a day Monday though Friday. Thats about $2 a day. 3) How warm you keep the space. My goal for this office is 70F (21c)

Good product. Very good.

I love this little guy. I used all winter in my trailer for heat so I don't have to use so much antifreeze in the water tank. I adjusted for degrees from 20s to 50s and it worked well. I wasn't worried about flame or overheating.
