Due to construction, I currently don't have a gas line. It's 6F outside and 56F inside. I have 3 electric radiators, this one, a Mainstays non-digital, and a Mainstays digital. First off, if you want to heat your home with an electric heater, radiators are the way to go. They are the most efficient for generating lots of heat. If you don't want a room to get too hot, get a digital radiator. The Costway radiator is okay, but it's a bit more expensive than the Mainstays non-digital radiator and seems to make less heat.

I use this for my snake room with a thermostat and it works great! I find I'm always skeptical when buying a new heater. There's always that possibility of it being a fire hazard, so I decided to test the heater out in an unused room in my basement. It gets extremely cold down there. I turned the heater on the highest settings and left it for around 3 hours. When I came back to check on things I was very surprised at how hot the room was. I'm convinced that if it was powerful enough to heat the coldest room in my house it could definitely work for you! But do know that the warning of it not being safe for children and roaming pets should be taken very seriously! The temperature reading I got when checking how hot it gets with my temperature gun read around 260 degrees, so do be very careful if you need to move it to a different spot. It would probably be best to not move it at all until it cools down if you really need to move it.

is very nice, but needs more power, only works well for little rooms. Okay! I understand is small. easy to use

My mother also has had one for awhile. Ours has been good so far and helps one cold room feel much better.
