Suction issues from day one. Multiple connections between components that are just plastic-on-plastic with no gaskets. Water sprayer switch gave out after about 5 uses. Suction hose completely failed at attachment head after about 15 uses. Poorly manufactured products like this result in a ton of plastic waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this cleaner to replace another bissel portable cleaner I had that broke and the sprayer stopped working. When I opened the box I was definitely excited, the design looked very nice and it is nice and compact. But when it came down to functionality, I was unfortunately disappointed. The hose felt very short and keeps coiling up as you try to use it. The attachment piece leaks a bit when you are using the wet option and I found it extremely difficult to hold the hose when cleaning.... the spray button is positioned exactly where you would grab it to hold and makes it very difficult to use. I also had a hard time wrapping up the hose and locking the sprayer part in, seems it doesn't fit right or something. I wish the design was better because the unit itself is nice.

Don’t buy this, you’ll just be mad that it worked that 1 time and now you have to take it back to the store. The sprayer stopped working after 1 tank fill. I checked the Bissell site and followed the instructions checking for clogs and gaskets. It should spray but it doesn’t. I did like the 1 brush accessory I tried - it got old stuck-in candy off the carpet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product saturates the rug and/or couch spots to be cleaned. Not near enough power to suck the cleaning solution back out of the spots being cleaned therefore either you are needing to lay bath towels over the areas to absorb the ringing wet areas or chance souring and mildew! We had to use towels and portable fans to dry these areas out and it took two days . Totally useless for the price.

This carpet cleaner worked good before the stiff hose broke right next to the cleaning brush. I tried to order a replacement but there are none available anywhere. The hose is stiff and difficult to put away and over time will crack and break as mine has. There is no reason one should not expect to be able to order a replacement part for this machine and Bissell is not too anxious to help me with this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the little green machine. I have two dogs, two cats and it really does an excellent job of removing stains. It's easy to use and I really like being to target specific areas. My only complaint is that there are so many different cleaning formulas that I'm never sure which one )orOnes) I should be using.

This worked well for the first year. Then, the hose became brittle and developed cracks, which caused it to lose suction, leak everywhere and become generally unusable. I used this on average 1-2 times a week (we have multiple senior animals in our home, as well as multiple toddlers!), and always followed the cleaning and maintenance instructions between uses. Only ever used bissel cleaning solution. Honestly pretty ridiculous that the machine rendered itself unusable so quickly. Im pretty disappointed in the longevity (or lack thereof) of this product. I’ve purchased a replacement hose from a 3rd party vendor, but it looks like Ill have to pretty much disassemble the machine to install it.
