This chopper does to job but it is very flimsy, light weight. I doubt that it will last long I'm used to.

I purchased this mini blender "KFC3516" for my wife who infrequently uses a blender. I read through the user directions KitchenAid provided to demonstrate how the processor worked. On her first use she called me for help reinstalling the lid to contiunue her puree of chopped fruit. I couldn't fit the lid back into the work bowl either. Turning the lid over I could see the base portion of the lid mating to the work bowl had a oblique crack likely generated from torsional rotation exceeding the strength of the material or it shipped damaged. Three comments:1. the lid and work bowl are made from inferior materal and thickness2. the lid and work bowl attachment design lack together a fool proof registration to each other necessary for residential users.3. the work bowl and lid parts are not available publicly available rendering the "KFC3516" a throw away appliance.
