Battery life issue

I really liked this product until just recently. The reason? Battery will not charge above 50% and gives me about 30 minutes before the "Low Battery" warning. Minutes later, "Goodbye". Sound quality is good, noise cancelling good, controls are good. No longer useable. No longer recommending.

Okay as good while it lasted

Was great for like two weeks. Then suddenly the battery life went to hell and decided that after an overnight charge it would only last 15 minutes this occurrence happened over and over again

Just stop working or charging

I ordered the headphones on Jul 9 and September 1, they stopped working and will not charge. I called to get replacement. Not sure what happen, but weird. I like the headset and will get again and determine how the second pair will do.

reporting battery loss after minimal use

seller is not the problem. return window closed and recently after minimal usage JBL stopped charging completely. nothing wrong with cord or headphones. used for a couple of hours each day. now will to hold charging to full. always says battery medium. come on made in China .. this is all you got? very disappointed to pay full price for a product only to have it not function. 25 hours of battery life is a joke.

After 6 months the battery only last 5 minutes.

Initially the product did what it said. It was comfortable and pretty good at noise cancellation. The sound quality was OK. Until recently I was satisfied. Sadly, after six months, the battery only lasts 5 minutes with noise cancelling on. With an eye to all the other products in this category, I would not buy this again. I will try to return this under warranty and update this report on my experience.

Solid feeling device but micro USB?

Just received these and they sound and feel great. The only downside is the micro USB cable. What a poor design flaw they used. Why wouldn’t they use the newest USB C cable? I missed this in the description. So much easier to have my iPad and headset on USB C. Update, these lasted a little over a month. Now they will not charge. Throwing them away and going with some Anker headphones with USB C.

Great headphones - but nagging firmware issue.

I love these headphones when they work. I've had two now and both had the same issue - they keep switching name in my bluetooth devices, from "Jlab Epic ANC" to "Test". Because of this sometimes it doesn't connect to the phone and I cannot pair it to my PC because it never stays on the real name long enough and just says it can't find it. I have other headsets working fine. This issue for this headset happens on two different devices so it's not the phone. I've emailed support - no response yet.

Battery life is not what you’d think

Got the earbuds and noticed the sound quality was ok but not great for an $80 pair of earbuds but I bought them mainly because of the estimated 25hr battery life. Sure the battery life was great at first. After a couple weeks of using every day it seemed like I was charging it every day instead of every 2-3 days. But it was getting through my work day just fine. Eventually and now it only lasts 3 hours tops and I never use the noise canceling. Frustrating because I’m past the 30 day Amazon return window. Hoping the manufacturer can help out. I’ll update my review if I can get some help.

Lasted 6 months then just stopped working!

Update: I’m dropping my initial review of 5 stars down to just 2 stars because while the sound and everything was working out great at the beginning unfortunately they just don’t hold up. Never mishandled or abused but just decided that no longer want to work. Was really hoping that they would hold up longer than 6 months! 1st post: I purchased these for my wife at work and she loves them! She has gone through many pairs of headphones and so far these ones have held up the best. Sound is great and very comfortable!

Terrible battery quality for otherwise good headphones.

Good sound quality and comfort, but the battery stopped holding a charge after 6 months. Couldn't hold a charge for more than 15-20 minutes, then eventually died after 5 minutes. Still under warranty but JLab wants me to pay to send the shipping to send them back their defective product. Buyer beware.
