Very cheap material...",leather" cracked...didnt last long

I literally had to cut my way out of this thing. Other ratchet belts are easy to operate. Just lift the buckle to release it. This one doesn’t work that way. There is a small latch that when lifted allows the belt to disengage - when not wearing it. I had to skip it off and disengage the belt. Thinking I had figured it out, I tried it on again but tightened it to where I couldn’t slip it off. Try as I might, it wouldn’t release. I finally took the scissors to it and freed myself. Too bad as it is a nice looking belt.

This belt was most definitely a return that had already been cut to size.

Ordered a larger size. The belt came cut in a smaller size but they did include the piece they cut off in the box. I guess the thought it would magically reattach its self during shipment.

I purchased this belt for my husband. He has worn ratchet belts for years and has never encountered anything like this belt. It is a beautiful design but the mechanism has to be defective. He tried it on and both of us spent literally hours trying to get it off. Finally, after three hours I had to cut it off. It will be returned tomorrow.

Don't waste your money, this is a fake, no genuine leather. See the pictures.

This buckle with a mind of it's own only releases when it's darn good and ready. I saved up for this belt because I thought it was going to be the best thing ever instead of wearing out belt hole after belt hole. It was going to be the last belt I ever bought - instead it was the belt that never lets go. I'm not an idiot, I know how to read instructions and I played with it every which way but this belt only loosens about 5% of the time and this last time I had to just cut it off. So thank you Marino for such a great idea but it just didn't work for me unfortunately.

Good design but does not hold

The spikes seem to be bending and don't fully dig into the belt. The result is that every few days I have to cut more off the belt and attempt to reseat the teeth into the belt. Soon enough the belt will not be long enough to use any longer. Update: now my belt is too short to use anymore. This is a great concept but this company has failed to execute, at least for my belt.

I ordered a new belt, but I received a USED belt. The lid is torn on one corner, the buckle was not correctly placed in the packaging, and the belt is cut. Presumably it's cut to somebody's waist size. There's even an indention on the belt where the buckle was previously attached. I am extremely disappointed with both the manufacturer and Amazon. Somebody screwed up. I've attached images detailing the issues. You can see how the buckle was supposed to fit into the packaging, but it was just sitting in there sideways. Returns should not make it into the hands of people that are paying for new products. It's a good thing this wasn't gifted to somebody.
