This is the 3rd Hoover rug machine that I've had - the last once was lost in a flood - and this is the best. It does an excellent cleaning job and leaves the carpet almost dry. Cleanup is quite easy except for the brushes - removing cat hair is a nuisance. Since durability is unknown since I've only used it twice but based on my initial impressions, I highly recommend it - a true bargain at the price.

Wholeheartedly agree with the five star reviews on here. Just received mine today and it more than fulfilled my expectations. Cleaned up pet stains in minutes. Probably would not want this unit to shampoo an entire house since the clean water tank empties fairly quickly, but it more than exceeded my expectations. A bargain for a hundred bucks.

I spent a fortune on the Bissell big green and it was so heavy I could hardly push it. I decided to go with the turbo scrub it is so easy to push and it cleans fantastically. My carpet was not this clean with the Bissell. It is amazing how much water it picks up. Suction is great and you can actually see how much dirty water is in the tank with the Bissell you couldn't tell. I love this machine and I could have bought four of them for the price I paid for the Bissell.

Amazing! I rent the one from the store every year and it’s a pain. Also I had a professional come in my place it was 100$ and the carpets seemed dirty after a couple days. I’ve used it three times since I purchased and no problems. I haven’t tried the upholstery attachment yet. I love the fact that when I feel like cleaning I don’t have to go to the store and lug that heavy one around. This one is pretty lightweight I think. And the best part is nobody else’s dirt residue is left in there yuck!

I moved into an apartment where the carpets were sticky and stank! My sister recommended this machine. I cleaned all the carpets in my 3 story condo with the sample cleaner the manufacturer included. I could not believe how much dirt this machine pulled out of the carpets. I would highly recommend this machine!

Very happy with the product so far. It's a huge upgrade from my previous 15 year-old carpet cleaner. It's a lot easier to take the tank in and out. I like that the tank is one piece instead of a separate piece for the solution. The old one (on my old model) broke off and will not reseat, rendering the whole thing useless.It cleaned the carpet very well and did a nice job on the tile in my bathroom.Price is excellent. It's lighter and easier to manage. Gets pretty close to the wall and the hose unit is easy to manage.Love the bag for the hose and nozzle. Solves the storage issue when not in use.

I hadn’t cleaned a rug under my couch in a year. Visually it didn’t look that dirty. ONE pass with this machine and I was pouring mud into the sink! It pulled up dirt that I didn’t even know was there!Great value for the money!I also used it on my hard surface floors with moderate success. It left a good amount of water behind but nothing I couldn’t live with. It’s still easier to just mop a hard surface over using this tho.

Generally, the reviews are correct. The machine does an amazing job and far surpasses what you'd expect to get for the price. That said, I go the extra mile with maintenance. I clean it after almost every use, leave the plug out of the clean water tank (I attach it with a rubber band so I don't lose it) and do a mediocre job of cleaning the obvious clumps of hair and fur out of the brushes. If you do not do that, the most expensive cleaners will eventually leak and die early. I love mine!

Thai carpet shampooer really got the dirt and grime out of my area rugs. I have two dogs that lay in certain areas in my rugs. The area rugs arebrown so the dirt doesn’t show. When I used the Hoover Turbo Scrub I was amazed at how much dirt came out of my rugs. The dirty water was as brown as coffee. The price was reasonable and it’s very easy to use and clean up.

Machine has options I wanted, 2 separate tanks, one for clean water and one for extraction water. Easy to fill, easy to dump. Brush on bottom comes off to clean because it’s attached to the tank. I like the set up of it. I also like that it’s lighter in weight because the tanks are smaller. It cleans well and extracts well. Dry time during 60 degree day no humidity was end of day.
