Works great easy to use, easy to learn to use in the first place. Convienent that both clean and dirty tanks remove from base. Even more convienent is the clean tank is on top and a quick release. I'm more than satisfied with the cleaning power and quickness of this machine. Forward and back holding the cleaning solution trigger and then forward and back not holding it and it's a totally restored rug. I had a white rug that had heavy foot traffic and it came right out looks brand spankin' new!I will say I wish it heated the water but even without this is a beast

Great little cleaning machine! For $100 you can’t go wrong purchasing this vs the cost of a few rentals. Be sure to vacuum first to pick up as much debris as possible. Even after vacuuming, this machine picks up a lot of dirt- the water was black, and the suction is powerful. Before you dump the used water tank, get a strainer for your sink to collect all the hair and dirt, so it doesn’t clog your pipes. A few negatives to mention- it could use a longer cord as I had to plug it into an extension cord to reach the end of the room. The soap/clean water tank is only a gallon, so you will be refilling and dumping the used water more often than with a larger machine. Since it is a smaller unit, it does take more time to clean the larger areas. For the average size home and only cleaning a few times a year, it is fine, especially for the price. If money was no object I would step up to a larger machine as we have about 2,200 sf of carpet to clean. But for a hundred bucks I give it five stars!

I am embarrassed to post my before pictures because of how bad my carpets were, however I am beyond happy with the quality for the price. My parents are high end professional carpet cleaners and they suggested this model for my home. I have two dogs that love to dig and they also love to get into food such as Oreos. My dogs vomited all over my rug and carpet and with a lot of attention most all the dirt and stains came up.I did a pre-treat which was 3 caps of the cleaner included, 1/2 tsp of high efficiency front loader detergent, filled the rest of they quart size bottle up with water. Shake. Spray evenly over carpet and target stained areas with more. I did not add anything to the carpet cleaner as I wanted fresh water to pull up the prespray and stains. There were areas I went over multiple times and retreated a few extra times to ensure the majority of the stain came up. I also worked in small areas at a time. My living room is not large and it took me about 3 hours and about 20 dumps/refills to really thoroughly finish the carpet. Please note my carpet was very soiled from the prior homeowner and my dogs, so others may not have this issue. I made sure that the water being pulled up was clear before I moved from that spot. In addition at the end I also went over my spots many times to suck up any additional water from the carpet.I am beyond thrilled with how easy it was to assemble and also fill and dump. This machine earned its 5 stars!

Used the carpet cleaner for the first time today and it worked splendidly. Hopefully it will last. I have had 4 carpet cleaners in the last 4 years and NONE have lasted more than 3 times in any given year. What makes it more disconcerting is that I only have 3 area rugs to clean in my entire house. I only needed to use 1 gallon of water, which was the size of the tank to clean the three 12 X 10 rugs. However there is no where in the manual or on the machine, in which it tells you how much cleaning solution to use. It came with a bottle of cleaning solution and the cup on the machine indicates 1 oz but nothing about how much you should use. I just filled the 1 oz cup with the gallon of hot water and it did the job. The filthy water lets you know how dirty your carpets were.I can only say that this carpet cleaner was easy to put together and use and that is was powerful in getting out dirt. I cannot say if it will last but I will be back, if it stops working in a year from now, to let you know. I am expecting the worse and hoping for the best.

This is a very easy cleaner to put together, two screws in the handle simple. I found this machine to be more lightweight than my previous one and much easier to get around. The carpets came out very clean and I noticed it took up much more water leaving the carpet fairly dry after. I used a box fan and it was completely dry within an hour to hour and half. I should mention I have arthritis in elbows and hands and this machine scoots around pretty well without tugging and pulling.

Amazing for the money. Well worth the investment! I've only been living in my house for 3 months which has brand new carpet. I don't wear shoes in my house but I do have a dog and a cat. I wasn't really expecting to pickup much dirt with the carpet being brand new but to my disgusted surprise, the water was almost black when I finished. I'm so glad I purchased this. And it was $55.00 cheaper than Walmart. 👍👍👍👍👍

The directions says squeeze the trigger for two passes (forward, back, forward, back) then let go and it will suck it up. In reality the machine I have sucks up when I pull it back towards me whether I am squeezing the trigger or not. If I am squeezing the trigger at the same time I am pulling it back, the soapy solution doesn’t make it to the carpet before it is sucked into the dirty water tank. So I only squeezed the trigger moving forward. The instructions seem to belong to a different model. Anyway, the carpet looked clean before I started (no stains) but the dirty water tank was horribly black. I emptied it in the toilet and not the sink.....bleak! You do have to listen for the change in the motor’s pitch. That tells you it’s not sucking up because the clean water tank is too low or the dirty tank is too full. The carpet looks brand new again.

I was a bit skeptical to buy after reading a few of the ‘not so good’ reviews. It went on a sale too good to pass up around Christmas so I gave it a go. We are a home owner with three bedrooms, hallway and living room carpeted. We also have 3 kids and 3 dogs (2 big & 1 small). It works fantastic! One of our rescues is sick and sometimes has diarrhea (it’s extremely disgusting!) and this shampooer gets the stain out. We spot treat with the LA awesome carpet cleaner from Dollar Tree, let it set overnight, then shampoo the spot. If there is still a light stain I will spray again with the Dollar Tree stain remover, wait a few mins and do it again. It’s happened about 8 times now and can’t tell anything happened. One of the biggest ‘complaints’ is the water drip line that happens after use. I’ve kept an eye out and it’s not terrible. It’s obviously from the condensation after it’s been steaming. We just leave our cleaner on the backporch or in the bathroom for a few hours after use to give it a chance to dry. We have carpet at the back door entrance and it pulls the dirt out. It’s a little confusing at first, but you squeeze and hold the trigger as you go up the area, then realease, squeeze and hold the trigger, then go back down your line. I usually go through it slowly 2-3 more times without holding the trigger.

I was tired of all the constant problems with past pricey Bissell units so after reading so many positive reviews I got this inexpensive Hoover...WOW!!! It is a super great cleaner, really sucks up dirty..ugh!..water fast!My carpets are old and have been through kids, grandkids, messy husband and lots of pets ,this Hoover gets new and old stains out, refils and emptying is easy and fast... but the best part is that everything can be removed without screwdriver and rinsed clean(,unlike Bissell)

Bought this after researching online for awhile. I have an old Hoover vacuum that works great still til this day. So I like this brand. I cant afford too much on a cleaning machine. My hand held steamer I got from Walmart doesn’t really do the job on the carpet as I would hope it would. Since we rescue a puppy he has been peeing in the kids rooms to the point I had to do something quick. He is almost fully potty trained but will sneak into the kids room to do his thing. Ugh...,When I received this Hoover I went to work on the carpets after a easy assembly. Poured the Hoover clean plus solution in the tank with water. Lightweight. Easy to move back and forth. There’s a release button for soap and it sucks the soapy water back up instantly. The tanks are easy to dump out the dirty water and refill the new water with the solution. Now my carpets are brand new again!! Smells like a great clean carpet!! I even did a traffic area by the back door.... looks and feels amazing too!! I highly recommend this cleaner. Now I’m off to do the couches. Thanks for making this affordable!!
