Safety design Stove Fans non Electric
The wood stove fan comes with a bimetallic safety device in the base of the stove fan. When the surface temperature rises above around 482°F（250℃）, it will gently lift the front of the fan to protect the TEG and motor. The fan will automatically recover normally as the surface temperature decreases.
How to use the thermoelectric fan?
1. Please place the stove fans non-electric on a smooth flat surface of your stove top near the side or back of the stove. Do not put it in front of the chimney, keep a distance at least 4".
2. The spins start to work when the temperature reaches around 130-170F and this heat fan can adjust its speed automatically with the stove surface temperature.
3. Never handle the base of the heat-powered fan. To move or carry the fan, always use the extendable handle while wearing gloves.
4. Please keep fireplace fan heat powered away from small children or pets when in use.

Finally got to us the wood stove fan. It is real cute, would be better if the fans were not so small, but both fans do move the warm air away from the stove.

Nice size. Whisper quiet. Works real well. Our usage is a 24' x 28' stand alone, uninsulated, wood garage built before 1940. We have a USSTOVE 2020 EPA wood stove that we use to heat the garage. The fan is very responsive and works well. The thermometer that came with it works well also. We got the stove too hot (600°F) and the pretty colors disappeared.
