Received a half opened box with clear signs of use. Product showed signs of wear. Peppa figured was opened and used.

Setup is atrocious. Prepare for quite the headache if you have the experience we did. The instruction manual it comes with is random and vague, the app is confusing and contradictory, and the various support articles and sites are a mess. Plus the "setup support video" is private on YouTube and unveiwable. We followed the steps exactly and couldn't get it to work. After trial and error on our part, and going off the path of instruction we finally got it to work with some assumption and brains. Very complicated setup

I don't believe a single one of these reviews. I found a forum online of frustrated dads like me who cannot get this thing set up. It will not work with new routers or phones. You need to have an OLD wifi network or OLD iphone to get it to work? Really $100 for something that only works with old tech? Only answers I've found online are setting up a separate guest network on your wifi, walking to the edge of your wifi network, or finding someone with an old phone. How on earth is this acceptable troubleshooting for such an expensive item? This is like two levels up from punch cards, dot matrix printing.

Not sure if we got a lemon, but it's useless as it will not connect to WiFi, so it can't set up.

I was so excited for my daughter to receive this on Christmas. Unfortunately, after hours of troubleshooting we still cannot get it properly connected. The connection process seems so simple but it doesn't work. We have already purchased so many individual Tonie characters that we want to figure it out but I guess we'll have to wait until we hear back from customer service. Such a disappointment on Christmas Day.

The app is absolutely atrocious! You need the app to get it setup but the app doesn't work. Spinning wheel of death, won't connect to the phone, won't connect to wifi. We're tech savvy, but this product is absolutely impossible. Unless you want to waste hours trying to set this up, just stay away. We were never able to get it setup and returned it.

Horrible setup! After trying to set this item up for two days and even manually trying to configure the tonies box with our network, we found out that we have an old box that can be sent back, to grab one with the new technology. Wish I would’ve known before spending $100 at Target for Christmas and I could’ve bought the new version directly from the Tonie’s website.

This has been the worst product support experience!! I have tried calling and phone number never works and I have not gotten a single response to my emails. I will be returning this to target and never thinking of this again. Just feel terrible for my toddler who was really upset not being able to enjoy it after opening it for Christmas!!!! Terrible customer service.

Will not connect to Wi-Fi. Then it has you try to use your phone hotspot which didn’t work either. My daughter destroyed the box so I prob can’t return it. ☹️Very disappointed
