This toy says it’s for ages 3 and up but I gave this toy to my 1 year old for her birthday. I am so glad I did. By far her favorite toy to play with and have on in the background or to sit there and listen. It took two days for her to figure out if she puts the figurine on the top, it plays music. A week, to put it on correctly, magnet side down, another week to know her Tonies and what plays what. After three weeks, she knows how to turn it on herself in her play area. It’s the first thing she goes for so she has music or stories running in the background. She loves her little Peppa as well and the pink is so darling! Definitely a gift that keeps giving to baby and mommy!

Couldn't be more pleased with the Tonies system. It's sturdy, compact, has a wonderfully clear speaker system and can be controlled by a child. No sharp edges and the colors are so vibrant. Best invention ever!!

Love, love, love our Tonie Box. Wish we had known about the brand sooner! It’s so great for background noise while playing, listening to stories and also for educational value (there are a few really wonderful National Geographic ones). The pink color of the Peppa Pig starter box is really cute. My family enjoys Peppa Pig and was happy that this one came with the box. If you are looking for the perfect gift for a baby, toddler or young child-this should be your go-to.

My daughter has autism and is non verbal. She plays with her Tonies every single day. We bought her books to go along with the stories and my daughter has shown tremendous improvements in her speaking abilities from egaging with her Tonies box.

This is my 3rd Toniebox! I’m planning on giving it as a Christmas gift to my nephew because my children love theirs so much and he wants to play with theirs whenever he comes to visit. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this system is. It has gotten my kids interested in a variety of stories from Tall Tales to Roald Dahl and they also enjoy the musical Tonies. Such an amazing, educational, and enjoyable screen-free entertainment option. Cannot recommend enough!

Love this Tonie box. This keeps my kids entertained for hours! They have so much fun listening to the stories. It’s easy to set up, has great battery life, and I love that we can even take it on the road with us. My kiddos get car sick so it’s great to have non-screen entertainment on long rides.

I love our tonie box! I have one for my 5 and 7 year old boys and they listen to it daily. I’m excited for their little sister to use her new pink Tonie box. She loves Peppa so this couldn’t be more perfect for her.

I was reluctant to purchase a Tonie box the first time because I wanted it for my three year old and spending $100 or more on a toddler was a little steep for us. I tried to hint at grandma to buy it. Well, she didn’t take the hint so I got brave and asked my husband what he thought. He was reluctant as well. But, agreed to try it out. I had it in box in the garage for months before I decided I’d better not spend that much money on toddler entertainment and tried to return it just before my child’s birthday. It was too late. I felt pretty stupid until I opened the box. Oh my gosh! The box itself is a design miracle. It felt so good in my hands—solid but squishy, well constructed. It was immediately apparent that it’d stand up to the crazy that my little one can be. I almost wanted to keep it for myself. A bit about myself. I hate learning new tech. I’m like the only 65 year old thirty something that I know. I got married to have a tech guy in the house. I expected setting things up here would require husband to be home. Wrong again! My three year old can set this thing up and get it running. It truly is a system designed for little ones. So here I am today purchasing a third box (for requested review) and I don’t actually have three children. I guess I finally get my own box. My kids like the informational Tonies and the Sesame Street Tonies best. We don’t actually watch peppa pig over here but we have a pig collection going and it’s about time we added her to the bunch. We keep our magnetic Tonie figures in a caboodle but it’s really fun to find them in all the metal places the kids find (baby gate has been my favorite). For the sake of being frank my six year old gets excited about the figures that represent shows he likes (how to train your dragon for example) but he’s generally a little disappointed that the character voices in the stories don’t always match. Sometimes they do (Mickey mouse and Cookie Monster for instance are a great match). I’m sure this has something to do with licensing but that keeps him from wanting to engage. He prefers shows, but he will listen to those non fiction Tonies when he has trouble sleeping at night and recalls all the facts and figures. On the flip side when I lose track of the toddler I often find her in her room with the door closed sitting on the arm of the love seat next to the bookcase laughing and singing along to her Tonies. It was a good investment. Still waiting for libraries to carry these guys so we can check out Tonies. But Target is a big step! No more paying for shipping!!! Quality product.

We have another tonie box for our 2 year old. we decided to get another for our infant girl to listen to during the day for activity. it's so nice to have her listen to stories instead of starting her on screen time. The pink color is adorable. Eventually we will get her a separate set of headphones to match!
