This thing is great! It was easy to set up, and it was quite sturdy. It also did a great job of keeping me put of the sun, which was exactly what I wanted. It also fit me, a 6-foot-tall stocky man, quite well and my friends loved coming in and sitting with me when they needed a break from the sun. The only reason I docked a star is because the stakes that come with the tent, while decent, are not long or sturdy enough to truly anchor the "tent" to a beach on a windy day. The tent was blown out of the sand a couple of times. I highly recommend buying some sort of sand anchors to way or tether the tent down, and then it'll be perfect. But for what I paid for this tent, I honestly can't complain and am greatly satisfied with this purchase!

We love this but beware of the wind!

This is belated but we took this to Hilton Head and unfortunately we did have to get sand neighbors to help us out it up. I am ashamed at my ineptness, but the tent is Fantastic. Shelter and I snoozed on the beach!

I got this tent , because my family and I love the beach and I needed something that portable and great for the beach . The tent is big enough to fit 2 adults​ or 2beach chairs. This tent is great for the beach .I wish it was a pop up tent Instead.. its kinda hard to put up and fold back in. After a few tries , you kinda get the hang of it. Nonetheless the tent is amazing love it

After reading other reviews, I decided to give this product a try on the beaches of the east coast. The directions were a bit unclear, but after about 20 minutes, I figured it out. I set it up first at home and that's the key. I also took a fine point permanent marker and labeled the sleeves for the long tent pole. Once I did that, subsequent setups were easy. As others have written, the stakes are ineffective in the sand. I improvised sandbags and placed on the outside corners. With strong winds, however, this may not be enough. But then again, what sun shade is 100% wind proof? My only complaint is that 1 pole started to crack after two days in the wind, but after contacting the company via Amazon, I was promptly supplied with a whole new set of poles. Excellent customer service! Purchase with the knowledge that while not perfect, this tent is an adequate device for a small group at the beach (2-3 people).

I like that this has a very good quality. First time to buy a beach tent, i couldnt figure out how to put it up at first but once you done it once, it is easy to put up and down again. Good thing i was with my husband when we brought this first at the beach. It would be a little hard to set up alone esp if it’s windy. I wanted instant setups like the other new tents where u just pull and its already setup. I have a baby and sometimes we like going at the beach. So this tent is not the best option for me coz it kinda takes time to set up, i would be worried about my 18mos running somewhere while working with the poles. Thats why i had to return this. But i really like its good quality and really gives good shade compared to other thin tents. Setting this up with someone takes about 2-3 mins versus instant pop up like umbrella tents that sets up for 30 secs or less. For a mommy like me who needs to watch her kiddo, every second is impt, thats why i had to return this. But i still recommend this to people who doesnt mind poles, and this is very lightweight too and requires small amount of space
