I've ordered multiple(one for all my tents) Luminoodles over the last few years and they are far and away my favorite camping/tent light. Whether that's under my vehicle awning, over a common area of camp, under the hood of my car or tied into the gear loops inside my tents. It's lightweight, waterproof and just the perfect color temperature. Not too warm and not too blue(cold). I can't say enough good things about them. Just make sure you have a decent power bank to pair it with and you cannot lose! Love love love!!

Update 6/29/18 I contacted the seller and let them know the bag is way small. They acknowledged the problem, and promptly sent me a bigger bag. The customer service is superb. I am upgrading my rating from 3 star to 5 star. The rope looks to be in good condition. I bought the 10ft version, and the bag is way tight. It is too small to be used as a lantern. Really amazing for camp sites especially at 12,000ft, in total darkness. Only thing I would change is let them connect several together… having several battery packs is not realistic when trying to save precious oz’s…

I absolutely loved this product! Our campsite was super bright at night and we didn’t even need lanterns or other devices to move around. I forgot to unplug it when we went to sleep and it stayed on and bright. The only problem I encountered was that it almost drained a fully charged battery pack that was supposed to last more than a night with that kind of use, but that’s another story and a different review for another product. I loved this product so much that I will definitely buy a second one and possibly a third one. Super light weight and easy to deploy virtually everywhere, so it was an amazing purchase and worth every penny

The rope is extremely bright and sturdy - the usb cable is a little short and unprotected, but seems good enough not to be an issue. Would have liked to have it dimmable as it is almost overwhelmingly bright, hopefully a new version is released but for now this works great.

This simple light exceeded my expectations. It packs well and is rather flexible (pun not intended) in how you use it. I use the 5ft for motocamping with my hammock after dark by attaching it inside and to help set up my camp. Perfect for reading or cooking/eating. I use my own 5000MaH battery and that lasts a few days by itself for a few hours each morning/evening. The lights have no brightness setting but one side is brighter than the other so I simply point the brighter side away when Im using it close.

Awesome so far even through I just got the product, will update after camping trips Colorful and awesome so far was my first review when I bought in jan 2017. It’s now 2022 and these still work wonders. The battery has long since died after about 2 years of constant use on the road but the lights still work. I use to keep it under my pop up canopy and just strap my own usb battery and have it run and just unplug from battery when I left camp. Gave a real nice vibe with changing colors or just a nice off white. I just cleaned out my truck another couple years of them sitting in my truck, threw them on the back of the TV and still look great! Lovely lights that last for me

This is a really great, innovative design. I love the attached magnets, and include reusable zip ties. Took it camping with a 6000 anker battery pack. I strung a single line of paracord in a tree, and zip tied the string to that. It gave off the perfect amount of light to cook dinner. When not camping, I keep it in the trunk of my car as an emergency repair light. The magnets make it very versatile for underhood work. The included bag does work great as a pouch. Great design. Buy a few.

PROS: Well made (bag and LEDs), magnets that slide up and down the strip work surprising well for there size, packaging is neat and reusable as a case for the product as it's resealable and water resistant. CONS: None yet. Would like to know how long it will last with a 5000 mAh at full charge for a reference. SUGGESTION: The strip comes pre-rolled around a small film wheel, which is nice as it neatly helps store it back in the bag. However, I wish the diameter of the bag was made slight bigger on the bottom to allow the full circumference of the little wheel to be pushed down flat at the bottom of the bag. This would create a stand within the bag so the bag would sit upright better when using it as a lantern. You're welcome. ~Frank

The light is more blue than expected (think of under-cabinet kitchen lighting). The picture/ads make it seem like it's a nicer orange hue but it's not that at all. That said I'm still happy with the purchase as it fit my use case so 5/5. Just keep in mind--it's not orange, or even slightly orange.
