I love the look of this mixer and it works great. Unfortunately the craftsmanship on this was subpar. The silver part that wraps around with the Kitchenaid logo and speed is loose. I had to have this shipped to me as we don't have a Target, plus I need it now, otherwise I'd exchange it. I'm going to try and glue it maybe to fix the problem. Otherwise it's a very pretty mixer. Just for the price that is disappointing.

I really wanted to love this mixer but the color is much darker in person than it appears on the website. I was hoping for a dark hunter green but it was actually much closer to black, espically when in my kitchen or in anything other than the brightest light.

There is a clicking sound with all the attachments most of the time when in use. It seems to function fine other than the clicking. I’ve repositioned attachments checked to make sure mixer is in locked positions. And still clicking when running machine.

Poor quality, especially for the money. Manufacturing defects, knobs feel cheap, attachments not all dishwasher safe. I bought this as an upgrade to the smaller version. That one is extremely well built, sturdy, metal hardware. I thought this would be an upgrade, but it feels a lot cheaper and I spent double the money. Cap hub feels like plastic instead of the old metal one. The coating on it is also misapplied and the inside is moldy. Metal band with logo is loose and looks like it was pounded in some places.

I love Kitchenaids in general; I’ve been using my grandma’s for years, but upon recent gift cards I decided to purchase my own. Upon unpacking…I noticed paint was chipped off. For how much these cost, there shouldn’t be any flaws prior to use.

I have no doubts this kitchenaid will perform great, and I love the color! Looks great on my counter. However, the price of this warrants that the item should be in perfect condition when opened. The whisk was attached to the mixer during packing and when I opened up the box, the bowl was totally dented…. Bummed about that.

I bought this as a replacement for my KitchenAid Artisan, and I wish I wouldn’t have gotten rid of the old one. This newer model does not meet the KitchenAid standard. While the color is beautiful, and the functionality of a KitchenAid mixer is there, the latching mechanism where the paddle or whisk attaches to the mixer does not have a tension spring like other models. This makes the paddle very loose fitting, and more than once I have had the paddle and whisk come unlatched while mixing. There isn’t a snug fit like you normally see with the tension spring on a KitchenAid mixer. My Artisan ran for over 13 years. I doubt I will have this one that long.

The first mixer I picked up had a paint issue, the second one sounded like the motor had something wrong with it. Love this color, but not impressed. Will try buying another one elsewhere.

I’m pretty disappointed in this mixer and wasn’t shocked to find out that the problems I was having were not exclusive to me. It has a difficult time mixing dough, very slow and loud. It sounds like it could break when you have it on a faster setting… My mom has had her kitchenaid for 20+ years and it works like a charm, I’m so sad this one doesn’t. I definitely plan on returning it and finding something else.

I've had this mixer for 3 years now and I'm disappointed in what feels like a major downgrade in quality. This is my second Artisan mixer. I have had the other for about 15 years with no issues. My mom has had hers for 30 years. I updated my kitchen decor and decided to update my mixer color. This mixer is really beautiful, but it just isn't up to the KitchenAid name. It can't even cream butter and sugar without struggling and jumping around. Sadly, this piece has become decor and my old one is what I actually pull out to use. Next time, I'll be going with a different brand who doesn't just rely on reputation and actually still makes quality products.
