Item arrived in brown box with no packaging . Plastic bag was torn open. I reordered and received another brown box with unwrapped item. I tried to return both items, I was told to discard. I did. Looking for another brand now

APP BUGGY!! SUPPORT NO HELP!!

Worst app install ever FOUR HOURS of app install & setup. Then on the phone with someone rereading scripts that don’t work. Impossible to set up. App super buggy!! Buyer beware!!

Product was defective. No response from seller

I bought this product and it was delivered defective. The unit does not power up. I sent the seller a message with no response back. Now it's past 30 days and AMZN will not refund me. This is disgraceful. My 81yo mother is very upset that she has no internet or tv.

Stopped working within 4 months

I bought this modem in April and by July I was experiencing the modem periodically restarting approximately 15 times a day interrupting service and whatever I was doing. Digging into how I could update or stop the restarting, found there is nothing to be done with this model of modem and I would have to replace it. Save your money and invest in a better brand and model.

Trash. Completely dead within 1yr and customer service is a nightmare

I looked all over the Arris site in order to share grievances directly with them but they only offer online chat (which disconnects randomly so you have to start all over) and a phone number - I won't take my disappointment out on a poor customer service rep, so I can only advise here to look elsewhere for a product like this. It took an over an hour to explain the problem (completely DOA modem) and the phone connection was poor so I had to repeat and correct information multiple times; then the shipping options were explained (standard for pretty much any warranty service) but getting any kind of replacement quickly was just not going to happen (7-10 days *after* I returned the faulty device). I'm so disappointed in my choice to purchase this modem because I thought I'd done quality research and was getting a quality product/service.

4 months

Modem stopped working in 4 months, turns off and restarts itself every 5 minutes or so. Can't stay connected long enough to do anything about it. Old modem still works, same connection speed too... don't know why I changed to this, but it's junk, and i can't return it.

No longer works after 2 months

I’ve had this installed for 2 months and it no longer works. Very disappointing. It’s connected to Xfinity and a Netgear modem works just fine.
