No cosmetics issue on the modem which was nice, but when I tried connecting it to the internet it would not work. I even called Cox for help and after an hour with them, we came to the conclusion that it was the modem that was faulty. I did purchase it from Amazon's "Used- But Very Good" where I read comments that they were in perfect condition so I took a risk. I am too late to return the modem so I am out of money too. If you are buying this used, I would think twice.

Blatant false advertising. Xfinity only supports DOCSIS 3.1 .

I don't like the fact that I have to return it. It have everything except a place for a house jack. I needed my home phone attached in order for it to be completed and send back spectrum box.

I am glad I got this for around half off. This modem asks that you install an app, I did not know this when buying the device as it is not something the box or the images provided bring attention to. This app will ask for unnecessary permissions, like access to images and video files, and all the app really does is tell you to go to your ISP's website to activate your device. If it is not obvious, this is completely irrelevant data. It has been a few years since I've updated our home network, I really hope this is not the new standard.

I bought this because it was on Comcast's list of compatible modems, and was also listed here as compatible. However, after installing, I was unable to activate it. Comcast support was unable to find the MAC address. Arris support was unable to help. I returned it and bought the exact same model from my local BestBuy, and it worked perfectly.
