Super easy to set up and schedule cleanings every day. Quiet and price was affordability, I thought, compared to other brands. We have a German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees mix who sheds ridiculously so I have it set every night to do it’s thing and I wake up every morning to beautiful, clean, furless hard wood floors!

So far, I am totally impressed! I have two cats with a cat box upstairs in a spare bathroom with linoleum. The bathroom leads out to a carpeted hall, several carpeted rooms, and a staircase. My cats have started tracking the cat litter out of the bathroom and out into the carpeted area. I was having to manually vacuum the upstairs everyday to keep the litter from spreading. If I wasn't home to vacuum the litter would spread down the stairs. I was getting desperate. I had never thought a robovac could be effect at cleaning but boy was I wrong. I took a chance and bought the Eufy G30 because it uses an intelligent pattern to map and vacuum. I guess the cheaper ones just use random patterns. There are far more expensive units that have far more capability but I watched a youtube review of the G30 and it looked pretty solid for the price. I set the unit up, linking to my phone over my network and told it to get to work. It mapped out the rooms, found the staircase without falling down it, and it cleaned the bathroom right up to the cat box. I would say that on the first pass it picked up over 95% of the cat litter. I could still see and feel a few pieces here and there. After its first run, I checked the debris/filter box and I could not believe all of the cat hair and litter it had picked up. The box was full. I cleaned the box and ran the bot again. This time I set the bot to max clean from the phone app. When I came back the area was pristine with fresh carpet vacuum marks. AMAZING!!! I now have the bot set to vacuum everyday using the app scheduler on my phone. Everyday I walk up to its area and I am so happy to see everything so clean. No more cat litter! I dump the filter ever other day and am amazed at the amount of debri it is picking up. I also have to clean the carper brush as it is still picking up quite a bit of cat hair which is sticking on the brush. Now that I have this unit, I would like to buy another unit for my downstairs, but I am thinking of buying one of Eufy's more advanced units. If you have never had a robovac before and were unsure of them, let me tell you this G30 is the perfect first robovac. It rocks!!!!!!!

This makes 3 of these in our house, one inside, one on lanai, & one in the garage.

This little robo vacuum is surprisedly wonderful. I was expecting to have to chase it around to clear it if obstacles and pick up after missed spots but so far after almost three weeks of it running each day I’ve only had to get it unstuck once. I thought for sure it would not be able to get around under our round dining room table and chair legs as the chairs even have lower stretcher pieces between the legs and nope she gets around them. The other thing I’m impressed with is how she negotiates around chair legs, pillars and any obstacle. I choose this model as it has the navigation so it basically goes back and forth and works from one side of the floor to the other using it’s mapping feature. Instead of the random bounce around mechanism. For suction power and cleanup is very good as well. I had vacuumed prior to first use as recommended and after she went out for the first pickup the dust bin was full. So she is finding stuff to clean. We have it just on one floor that is about 2000sqft and she can do it all on one dust bin I haven’t had to empty the dustbin midclean. She can’t do the whole floor on one battery charge so she heads home to recharge automatically before heading out again to finish where she left off (can turn this feature off if you don’t want it going back out to finish after recharging ). The app for your phone is great I think anyway. You can monitor where the robo is currently what it is doing how much charge, etc. you can also set schedules of course. There is a bypass to manual mode where you can direct it via the app if you want it to clean something more or clean something sooner then when you set it back to auto mode it goes back to where it left off and finishes. It is very quiet too even on max suction much much less than a regular vacuum and very easy to have it running while you are home without having to increase your voice level or turn up the volume on your tv. I find the boostIQ mode the best, where it runs on standard suction on hard floors then kicks into turbo suction (max is the highest) when going onto carpet areas. If it is in another room cleaning you can’t even hear it. So if it does have trouble or needs to head back home her voice can be set to different volume levels and it sends you a message on your phone also. Now like I mentioned I have only been using it for almost three weeks so we’ll see and I will update if I notice any problems. But so far quite happy. I should also mention that our floors are all hardwood with a few area rugs and tile baths. We also do have a dog with short hair that constantly sheds (main reason for this robo so I don’t have to vacuum constantly).

Love it, leaves lines my carpet. Rarely gets stuck. Easy to clean.

PROS: 1) The short story: I love it. I'm shocked at what this picks up in my home every day. EVERY DAY. It's nearly a full compartment of dust/dog hair.. I'm honestly blown away.. where does it all come from? My house looks and feels so much cleaner now all the time with almost zero effort. 2) MAPPING: I specifically waited to buy one that had an app and a mapping feature and wouldn't wander in circles aimlessly. It's satisfying to see it travel back and forth in neat lines and then see the map of the house and where it has cleaned, and to be able to control it remotely with the app. 3) SUPPORT: Eufy support is responsive and helpful (support@eufylife.com, or use the live chat option) and the reps seem to genuinely care about the customer experience, which makes me feel more confident about continuing to have Eufy vacs in the future.. especially as long as the company stays competitive with it's features/price points. 4) PRICE POINT: I read a lot of consumer reviews/lists of best reviewed vacuums since I first started thinking about getting one of these and Eufy came up on top a lot. And, their products are competitively priced in general. I did get a discount for being an early purchaser of this model, but I think the regular price is reasonable, and these things do go on sale frequently, and this one will too. CONS: 1) MAPPING: It does not remember it's own map day to day, and starts over each time. It would be nice if you could save areas and direct it to certain rooms/etc. However, this is not a feature of this model (on an email with Eufy support I was told the L70 Hybrid model has a 'laser navigation system' with a radar that scans the room and saves a more accurate map.) 2) GOING HOME TO RECHARGE: It has yet to return to it's base on it's own for me, since once I notice it revisiting the same area it has already cleaned I send it home. And, then.... it has a very hard time finding home if it's not in the same room.. I sometimes end up carrying it back to it's room to speed up the process. This is a bit annoying honestly. Neutral observations: 1) TUMBLEWEEDS: in a 1000-sq-ft space with tiled flooring and a few rugs, at first I noticed it blowing a lot of doggie hair tumbleweeds around on the tile, but as it's gotten on a daily schedule it does a (really good) job keeping them at bay. 2) OBSTACLES/RUGS: it does a fine job climbing on top of rugs, thresholds, etc. Though it doesn't have a problem with short/1 inch rug fringe, it will have a problem with longer (3") rug fridge, be aware (probably true with all robot vacs). There is also a nice suction setting: 'Boost IQ,' which will automatically adjust suction power in between hard flooring/carpet, etc. 3) LONG HAIR: households with long haired-inhabitants need be aware hair will get wrapped around the roller brush piece and need removal. I suspect this is standard with robot vacuums, and Eufy includes a handy razor+comb tool to cut through the hair and it's not a big deal, but has to be done probably every couple uses/inspect when emptying the dust trap. If it's not kept up with it does have a harder time keeping rugs/carpeting clean, I notice.

Robot vacuums with extensive mapping exist. They'll mop, empty into a station, self clean, and you can tell them exactly where to go in your house and clean. Amazing. This device does nothing of the sort. It doesn't save the maps, it doesn't mop. So you should know what you are getting. That said, our fancy robot cost $1500. So for a fraction of the price, is this eufy even worth it? Well, yes. Yes it is. If you don't need the fancy features, then you'll probably be just fine with this robot. It maps as it goes, so it actually has some sense of navigation and intelligence as it cleans. It just doesn't save the map. I run it in an 1800 sq ft home and that seems to be about the max for this robot. It's very efficient. Cruises around. Maps the house and cleans without aimlessly bumping around. And does a pretty damn good job. So if you have a smaller house or apartment and just want a robot vacuum at a good price that can do the job... Then this will do it and do it well. There are much better, more sophisticated options available, but that doesn't mean that this one isn't also a good fit for many, if not most consumers.

I LOVE this vaccum. We have 3 dogs - 2 short hair and 1 sheltie. I run Eufy (well, we named him Harry!) every day to keep ahead of the dog hair. Don't even have to get out of bed - I start it with my app when I first wake up. I do clean the brush and pan after every clean. And yes, the sheltie hair wraps around so I have to cut it off. But this thing cleans great and I thought the price was decent. I can't believe I went so long before purchasing one. Only downside is it is a little louder than it was when we first purchased it. Not sure what is up with that, and it annoys my husband. But overall, I highly recommend

I was somewhat skeptical that this vacuum would do the job given how much furniture I have in my downstairs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it covered everything. The one thing I love about this vacuum is how it's able to get underneath all my furniture including my couch. The Irobot as well as several others, are too tall. It always has returned back to its charging station. It actually draws a map on the cell phone app, showing where it is cleaned. Emptying to the dustbin after every cycle is it's only downside. I have a small dog that sheds so much that I could have built three other dogs in the case of a month. It picks up almost all the hair off the floor and the carpets. Being able to tell it to start cleaning to my Alexa it's just a great feature. Highly recommend.

My G30 works great on our hardwood floors and short pile area rugs, it even does a good job on the Zebra skin although I fold it back to avoid catching the mane. We have the language set to Japanese and call it Yuko after a dear friend. We have it programmed to self start every other day and we have found no need to pull out the old vacuum. We have a long haired cat and this vacuum gets all the hair off the hardwood. The performance on the low pile carpet is acceptable but not as thorough as the Dyson. The G30 fails to do an acceptable job on the longer pile carpets in the bedroom. Emptying the dust bin and cleaning the filter is simple and easy. We also have an Eufy S11 model and the cleaning performance is the same although the usability of the G30 is worth the extra cost, in my opinion. We had an issue with a G20 model not covering our floor pattern very well. The Eufy customer service was exceptional. They delivered far and above my expectations. I would share the details but can't imagine they can afford to provide the same level of service to everyone.
