I purchased this only because I wanted a quiet vacuum. Pros: is it quiet, I can be a room a away and still watch tv comfortably. Picks up enough on hardwood to keep things dusted. You can see a map as it is running. Cons: no control of where it vacuums, either the whole floor or none (I haven’t tried spot clean). The app and mapping could use some improvement. I can’t comment on how it cleans on carpet as I only use on our hardwood.Overall I purchased to run daily and quietly, for that it is meeting my expectations.

Works for what i need. Easily set up. Big dust bin. Only needs empied every couple days. Its cleaning about 1000 sq.ft. of hard floor and rugs. It gets stuck under my recliner now and then. Had to get rid of one of my wife's favorite rugs. Some super shag deal. Kept getting stuck on this rug. Other than that, it works as well as id hoped. For features vs price, its gonna be tough to beat.

This is my second eufy. For the first, I did not need the app. For this model you need the app because the default suction power is low and the vacuum isnt very effective at that level. Note. The filter set up is different than older models. I prefer the old set up.

I would have given a 5 star, but for a vacuum that can "map" the room and even look at the cell phone app and see where it's been, the vacuum has no capability to remember where it is or what is in the room. If it runs low on battery, it has to still hunt for the base and figure out how to get over to the other side of the room. I think it knows approximately where it is, but not what obstacles are in the room to get there as it still runs into stuff and has to hunt to get around stuff. It pics up stuff and able to program what time to start and on which days of the week. May want to upgrade to the one with the base that sucks the dirt up into it as it's kind of a pain to remember that every other day I need to empty the back end of it as it ran the previous day.

This vacuum does a pretty good job of keeping the dog hair under control. I only have one dog, and she’s a Jack Russel (small dog/short hair). The rolling brush needs to be cleaned often (due to my long hair). I’ve figured out how to take apart the brush to clean the bearing and add wd-40, so you don’t need new brushes as often. The other problem is the hinge pins for the dust bin. I lost both. 3/32x1 cotter pins make a great fix. Just insert, use a needle nose plier to bend, and wire cutters to cut to size. Lastly, this vacuum will not remember where obstacles are ( knew this before purchasing). You will need to make barriers to ensure it does not get stuck in places, like under a low couch. I bought this over a year ago, and am still pleased with the purchase.

I'll start by saying we have 3 dogs (german shepherd, a yellow lab and a golden retreiver). 4 kids...(21, 19, 17 and 8). Our downstairs has different surfaces-tile, linoleum and area rugs. This vacuum works great for us. We don't expect it to replace our regular vacuum though. We still vacuum every 3rd day usually but this robot vacuum helps with under the furniture and the constant struggle with dog hair. I really do feel like my home is cleaner since having it. We don't do scheduled cleanings because I never know what someone may have out on the floor so I just will turn it on as I run my daughter to school or while I'm getting ready for thr day. It's amazing how much dirt and hair it picks up. We've had no issues with it going from one level of flooring to another. Even with transition pieces from room to room we haven't had a problem with the robot vacuum getting stuck. We put googly eyes on it and names him Gary. 😉

As someone who has 5 cats and mostly hardwood floors. This thing works quite well. I do really like how it can fit under my couch and coffee table without issue.Let’s talk about how quiet this thing is. My first robot was back in heh early roomba days and I remember how loud that one was. When this is on standard suction I barely notice it. However- it gets pretty loud on max suction. Not much of a bother for me.The bristles are very soft and make me wonder how deep of a clean it can get into carpet though it still amazes me that it manages to fill a full tank every day. Overall- getting this thing on sale was a great buy and so far. I recommend it.

I got this to help keep my floor free of the dust bunnies my dog makes and all the grit he tracks in from his frolicking in my “yard,” which is sadly mostly mud right now. My home is mostly hardwood floors, with three rooms of some nasty shag carpet that’s seen better days.First, I won’t lie, this won’t replace an upright vacuuming on the carpet, especially something as deep as shag. However, it does do a surprisingly good job for the between vacuuming times. It does do great on hardwood, and is great for getting under couches and other places you may have a harder time reaching with a canister vac. I do not have dust bunnies floating around between weekly upright sessions any more, and my floors no longer have that slightly gritty texture when I don’t have time to vacuum every day, so major success.Downsides are two: the battery gets MOST of my house in one go, but not all. My house is 1,200 sq ft, so on the small side. Although I have the feeling that as it gets a more clear map of my house, it will get more efficient, which I’ve already noticed. Speaking of the map, it looks absolutely nothing like my house, but I have followed him around, and he is getting everything, so I really don’t care what the map looks like. The other downside is the sweeper brush that rotates in the front (not the beater bar). It just slides on, and I lost two in two days because they come off incredibly easy. Now, it hasn’t made a big impact if I don’t use them, but it also doesn’t get as far into corners without them. I’ve only found one, and it got pulled off when it got wedged under a power cable along the wall. It was not out in the open, and just brushed under it, so they come off incredibly easily. I’m going to try and get some blue tack for hanging pictures and try that to keep them on a bit better. It’s to a deal breaker, but it is annoying.Overall, I would recommend it, especially if you have all hard floors or lower carpet, and definitely if you’ve got pets. I’ve seen it easily suck up dog food, small rocks, seeds, and a piece of uncooked spaghetti I was using as an experiment that I chased around with my upright vac for weeks. I do clean it religiously after every use, taking the beater bar off and getting all the hair off, but if you’ve got short hair, you might not even need to do that.

I have always been pleased with Amazon products but I am sorry to say this one has not lived up to their standards. The sellers got the product here on time but after watching every YouTube video I could find, reading instructions and trying hard to get it to work it vacuumed my floors twice! I was never able to get it on line so I just thought okay I will just use it as is. Well sorry to say it just decided to die on me!! RIP!! Should it really be this hard!! I hope you have better luck with yours than I had. Update: The vacuum is working again. The eufy team has been good at contacting me and I look forward to working with them in the future because it’s still not online. Thank you for your offer of a refund and concern. It’s been a little frustrating trying to get it online but I think I will keep it. It’s been picking up without it being online. That helps me out tremendously. Thanks again for all your help.

I absolutely adore my Eufy. The suction on it is stupid good. I thought I kept my home clean enough, but this thing keeps coming back full. I love that it has some sort of compression technology that lets it keep vacuuming even though you'd think it's full. It was easy to set up, and it handles my randomly placed rugs pretty well. It can handle a lot higher obstacle than I might have thought. I will be getting some adhesive to hold my rugs down to stop that issue because it will start to bunch them up. My only complaint is that is does not remember the home mapping it does. This is my first time buying a robot vacuum, so I thought "home mapping" meant it would learn my home and then remember that to be more efficient. It's a pretty efficient cleaner as it is, but it has definitely doubled up where it did not need to. I also didn't realize I wouldn't be able to designate no-go zones or tell it what room is what so I could command it to clean specific areas.TL;DR: If being able to tell your vacuum to go clean a specific area is important to you, then this is not the vacuum for you. If you don't care about that and just want a really powerful vacuum that will run when you tell it, then I cannot recommend this one enough.
