I bought 4 different lap desks hoping that one would work for me post abdominal surgery, and this one was the winner. I don't put a laptop on it, I bought it to use with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I also have only used it at lower heights, so I can't confirm its stability when fully extended.Pros: Infinitely adjustable, sturdy at lower heights, mouse extension works on the left or right, very lightweightCons: The metal lip for holding laptops is very uncomfortable on the wrists (I turn it around and use it backwards, which works fine, but it means I can't use the tilt at all). The mouse platform is metal and very coarse - my wireless mouse had a lot of tracking issues with it. I bought a mouse pad to put on top of it, and that helped. With the addition of a padded wrist rest (or the ability to remove the edge altogether) and a better mousepad surface, this is a 5-star stand. Especially at its price point.

Very lightweight, easy to use once set up. It takes a little doing to get each of the legs lined up as they are individually set, on each side. I found it a little inconvenient as you can't easily change the settings without using both hands and removing the computer from the desk portion. Once set though, very lightweight, and plenty of room for a computer. It also comes with a mini platform to attach for the mouse. Very mobile.

My wife and I needed this to stop the awkward reading position while in bed and this proved to be just what we needed.

Bought that to have place under the laptop on a small surface. Well it does make more space but things under are a bit hides from the view and very unconfortable to write when the laptop is not on the table. Yes it is more at the eyes level and that is good. The mechanism function well and easealy. Be carefull thow not to force it because it might break since it is built to be light. If used carefully I think it will last. Easy to put in your loggage. the mouse pad not very usefull. Better to leave the mouse on the table. I stoped using it because of the writing problem and the small room gained by eleveting the laptop.

Handle it gently.

When I first unpacked this I wasn't too sure about it. If you just mess around it's a bit difficult to get it to a setting that works well.Luckily it comes with a good instruction sheet that recommends what to set the six different arm knobs to for your sitting arrangement (standing, desk chair, bed, or couch). I bought this so I could work from the couch more easily, so I met that setting and it's honestly worked out perfectly.Once you get it into a good position, it's actually quite sturdy. Even on my couch, which is far from a flat surface.

Very lightweight and easy to adjust, not the most sturdy.

You need an external keyboard, typing on a laptop keyboard shakes the whole unitWorks well with all my laptopsMouse pad makes no sense, I am using it to hang my headphone.

The attached mouse pad is a little wonky/and small. Overall works for what I need. Being under 5' tall, the sit to stand desks don't work as intended so this is a better option for me. Also easy to remove from desktop when needed.
