This is great! It’s very easy to adjust and sturdy enough to hold my laptop

Stand is very sturdy. Was difficult at first to adjust to same position on both sides, but once I got the hang of it, it works great. I am a teacher moving from class to class with a rolling cart and I have no trouble leaving computer on top while I move.

It works for what i want and is quite sturdy light weight and gives more than enough spacing for laptop. The only thing I am not excited about is the fact that I have to adjust each section in order to set it up. But once set up it is perfect.

I dislike that if does take some time to adjust the legs evenly but you can. Make sure that you desk isn't a glass top because it will need something beneath the legs. It's good for the price.

I just got a new smaller laptop and needed something going over my lap, and I saw this.. Works great even over blankets and pillows…steady and sturdy Absolutely a great addition

I made an effort to save what I got a flimsy object that is unlikely to last as long as the $30 dollar metal stand. Yes, the cheaper one is lightweight, but so is the metal stand. False economy rarely yields good results. Lesson learned. Next time, I will fork out the thirty bucks.

This stand is not bad and gets the work done.I’m debating returning, but for price and/or household without children/active pets, it works. My primary use: 1.) keep computer elevated and above work materials and liquids that may be on desk and free up desk space. 2.) watch tv from bed without having laptop in bed.PROS:1.) Price fairly reasonable compared to other models2.) Comfort- Extension height accommodates taller folks when using as standing desk.- Wide enough to comfortably bridge hips/legs leaving ample “aisle” room. Important when WFB.3.) Size works, especially if you cowork from bed/couch (there— you can stay on your side of the bed 😉), want to save surface space on actual desk/table.4.) Wide range of angles. Great for those who enjoy having laptop almost upright.5.) Design simple and not flashy.CONS:1.) Adjusting not intuitive and is cumbersome and difficult. Very easy to injure fingers while adjusting. In one mishap, my nail bent up and backwards leaving a white trophy mark across my nail bed. It was VERY painful. As such:- I would NOT gift to children/anyone with an arthritic condition.- I leave in one position and on desk (which defeats my intent of having a portable desk).- DO NOT lose cheat cheat with recommend bed, couch, table adjustment settings! You may never figure it out on your own.2.) Strength- this is not your rough and tough, tumble piece of equipment (that said it’s not as feeble as many of the comments suggest). I would NOT however leave laptop on stand while adjusting, nor would use this stand for a heavier or thicker notebook. Given also that the ledge is minimal and adjusting is jerky— just don’t do it.3.) Mousepad ledge waste of time. Not designed to at 90 degree angle or adjust. Moved in tandem with top joint.I wish I had also opted for a stand that included a sunken cup holder and more surface space (so I could use in tandem with legal pad). It’s certainly not a dealbreaker for me, but if it’s in your budget to go up, go for it.

It's a little wobbly. But works fine.

Cheap plastic "legs". The platform itself is heavy duty metal with a coating. It very difficult to get it how you want it. I wish I had 4 arms and hands. 2 hands/fingers to push the button on either end, and a2 hands to move into position. Once you decide the position, I'd keep it there. Sometimes it take longer to get it in the right position than the activity I'm using it for. I get the most use while sitting up in bed with my device.

I wanted this item for my desk so that I could work on my small laptop at a slightly higher level than my desktop allows so that the screen is ideally around eye level. I also wanted it to be angled upwards a bit rather than completely flat. This product serves its purpose, but has a few issues:a) If you don't have the innermost "arm" extended to some degree, you cannot attach the mouse tray. That was one of the reasons I ordered this, it has a mouse tray.b) There is nothing to prevent the bottom arm that sits on the desktop from scratching your desktop (my desk is wood). I managed to scratch my desktop while I was trying to adjust to preferred settings. This also makes the product somewhat unstable - it moves easily on my desktop. I'm going to have to get some sort of rubber grippy product to put on the bottom arms. I already put a strip of electrical tape along the bottom arm so that it won't scratch my desk surface any further. I was expecting some sort of rubberized supports at the bottom so that it won't slip on surfaces, but it didn't come with anything like that.c) The arms themselves are not the most stable and don't necessary sit evenly on my desktop, so there is some wobbling occurring while I use the product. I had to wedge something under the one arm so that it's less wobbly, but combined with what I wrote about above in item "b", the item is constantly slipping as I type and I have to pull the item back towards me.So, there could be improvements with this product, but I guess I have to make them myself.
