Fine - needs to be a bit wider

I regret the purchase. It works fine. I wish it was six inches wider. Americans have wide laps. It doesn't sit over my lap I have to put on my legs. I might as well have gotten a lap table. It would be more comfortable all in all. Mouse platform is basically useless.

Its a good device, could use improvements

It's not bad. Seems sturdy enough and fits my 15" laptop. My main issue with it is that its very difficult to adjust. You will need to push in the little silver circles deep in order to adjust it. I have long nails so its not possible to use my fingertips, I used my knuckles but after a while that starts to hurt. Folding this and opening it is a real pain.Unless you plan on adjusting this once and leaving it in that position then I wouldn't really recommend it because its not a quick setup.

Ok so it works, but…

The other reviewers that are talking about cheap buttons and breaking units- I now believe all of that but it did not happen to me. During set up, I had multiple sticking buttons. If this happens- Push in (even though it’s already pushed in because it’s stuck) while gently trying to rotate the leg. The button should pop back out into place. It definitely takes some finesse. This happened to me 3 times and I thought it was going to break on me. It didn’t though.I will say that when I unwrapped the package, the box contents smelled bad. Like I was holding my breath to get it out of the plastic- that bad. Once I threw away the box and plastic wrapping, all was fine. It’s not great, but I’m not sending it back. My plan is to pretty much just leave it on this one setting. If you’re buying this with the thought of actually wanting to change the settings often for different environments/situations, then I would tell you to get a sturdier unit because this one will likely break on you. If you plan to set it up and pretty much leave it on that one setting, then this will probably suit your needs just fine.

Took a bit of time to get it right...will be hard with nails

This took a bit more time than I expected. This desk is great for sitting bed or working on your count. The issue is that the buttons on the side have to pushed in in order to adjust the desk ...and there's a button on each side. I dont have super long nails button even I struggled to do this. Those adjustments should really be knobs that click when you turn. You will never be inclined to fold this thing and put it out of sight after doing all of the adjustments to get it just right. That's not ideal but you will have a desk that suits your height needs overall.

Not very sturdy

Purchased for my nephew. Has to sit pretty low to the ground for sturdiness.

Bad design

I got this to sit on my bed and work on my laptop. There are a couple issues. The biggest is that there are three adjustments on each leg. You push in buttons and adjust each side. They are not intuitive adjustments so what you think you’re adjusting to doesn’t happen and then you have to make several more adjustments to try to get it at the height that you want it. It is just too time consuming, like 10 minutes to get it where is comfortable. I guess if you’re only going to use it for one place you could adjust it once and never change it… If you can get it to where you want it. I move from my bed to the couch and so this just didn’t work for me. The second issue is the legs are pretty light so the position that was most comfortable for me threw the weight off and it just wanted to tip backwards all the time.

it's OK, not super great or anything

it's OK for the price, it's a bit flimsy and the metal is a bit thin but it should do OK if it is not mistreated too much. the legs lock well and you can set it at any angle that is good for you. it is very light, this may be good or a problem depending on where you want to use it. Personally I would prefer it to be a bit heavier, to make it a bit more stable. but if you want to carry it around, then it is very light. And you can have any color you like... as long as it's black

Adjustable support legs arw cheap plastic

I unboxed and adjusted today. With the product description heavily emphasizing aluminum, I was expecting sturdy aluminum legs NO, the legs are cheap flimsy plastic.n Plus my thicker older HP laptop kept sliding off the lip of the tray that's supposed to keep it from sliding off, The mouse pad is flimsy metal. Spend your money better elsewhere.

might be great for you, but not for me.

I ordered this to try and reduce the neck strain from using the laptop on, well, my lap, while in my recliner. the construction isn't very sturdy, but if you can get it set to work well for you, it is probably adequate. The legs are plenty adjustable but I just couldn't get it to sit right on my lap...meaning the laptop kept sliding with the smallest movement of my body. I did return it...and there was no problems with that part so I am happy.
