Very convenient item to have to keep steak, chicken (spatchcock?) flat for thorough cooking or however you like it. On stove or grill works great. Wooden handle seems to keep heat away from hands. However, even with hand washing I've seen rust on both sides. You must keep this well seasoned to avoid the rust!

Very nice product but handle gets extremely hot.
