It is a nice compact size. However, the coffee is not hot. Within a few minutes, the coffee becomes too cool to enjoy.

So I wanted to love this for the convenience. Unfortunately, it does not come anywhere near being hot.

This is my fourth Nespresso machine. Yes, it makes excellent espresso. But: 1. It's not tall enough. The other reviews mention it's not tall enough for the iced coffee, but I can't even hold a small strainer above my mug (which is how I infuse it with lavender or cinnamon or anything else I like). 2. The container that holds the used pods isn't transparent and isn't big enough. So either I forget to check it or I'm constantly checking it. 3. The water container isn't big enough. Apparently, the "deluxe" model holds more water. What the heck? 4. The cup holder is so small that my mug hangs over the sides, meaning it's not super stable. Also, where the expresso comes out, that doesn't stick out enough. The whole design is awkward. 5. I bought this machine to save space. But the water tank doesn't swing, so it actually takes up more room than I thought. Overall, if I had known this ahead of time, I would have gotten rid of our coffee pot and gotten a different machine. It's good espresso, but it's not a pleasure to make it.

Specialized pods and quit working after 2 days

This machine is extremely noisy and does not have a stable base. When you go to close the latch the entire machine moves. Very disappointing purchase for the price.

I love the coffee that this produces but the machine itself is a headache. I expected better for the price and brand. It started leaking coffee after 1 month of use. I tried running a descale cycle at least 7 times and it was the most frustrating process. The machine only has one button. You have to hit and hold the button and complete a series of steps in specific amount of time to get into descale mode. I watched videos and followed instructions but still couldn’t get it to run a descale. Now my machine will only blink red, unplugging does not fix the problem. I will be contacting nespresso customer service

We have the original vertigo machine for a good 6 years and decided to replace it with this space saver about a year ago. It’s given us nothing but trouble. I’m ready to throw it in the trash and go back to the old one. Constantly blinks red, super temperamental… and worst, it overflows almost every coffee cup. Even the Nespresso ones!

I bought this machine 2 months ago and I don’t like the mechanism at all, not even a little. I have to literally force shut the top of the machine where you insert the coffee pod using two hands. It’s not a smooth closure at all and feel like the machine will eventually weaken and break. I’m so disappointed because I truly believe in the brand and very much enjoy their coffee. I really wish I had only bought the original machine I owned for seven years and never had an issue… I had the Virtuo vintage classic machine.

Not happy, leaking after 7 months of use. Machine too loud.
