tried one out... got the shave i expected from a multi-blade Gillette. the whole heat bar concept is just hype though. The working concept behind a hot towel shave is to steam the beard for a minute before the shave, softening the hair, not just to be pleasant. The little electronic heater in these razors isn't going to do that.

After a few years, it just stopped recharging. Not worth the price.

I bought this one month ago after multiple uses once per day for 5 days per week the heat in the razor has lost its heat factor I tried switching the different modes but nothing I don’t think they intended it for everyday use. Maybe mine is defective ..? For the amount of money it costs I think the product should be better and last longer

It’s funny that the warrantee is only 1 year on this razor. I say this because like clock work shortly after a year passes this razor will stop functioning altogether. I’ve bought two, and it’s happened both times.

This is the best razor I have ever used. The heating element is amazing. However, it breaks very quickly - it stops heating. Gillette engineers say it should work for about 1.5-2 years, however, this is not written anywhere. Is it fair that this is the expectation, and I am not told before purchase? Just tell the consumer and let them decide if it is worth it.

Just got this a week ago and I was super excited to try this as I have used nothing but Gillette since I started shaving. Simply put the experience was not what I had expected Most of the times the heating bar barely makes contact with my skin and when it does it just didn’t feel natural. I much prefer the vibration and wish they had incorporated that into the design

Stopped working after 10 months and blinks all crazy orange when I turn it on and there’s no way to reset it when this malfunction occurs.

I bought this Razor 3 weeks ago and it's been horrible. The heating feature is ok but overall the razor has it's flaws. First for the price it should have an electric option like the Proglide power razor. Second, you only get 8 minutes of heat then you need to recharge it for an hour. After a few shaves my hairs have become so course that I had to stop using this razor. Anyway, I'm very disappointed with it and going back to the pro glide power.

I bought this product a month ago - was happy initially but today suddenly a metal wire popped out the shaver and it hurt me on face while shaving. Didn't notice earlier what is going on - thought the blades got bad but when look closely a metal wire is out there and it hurts. Not expecting this as paid a high $$ amount for the heated razor. Disappointed.

mine worked for little over a year, now will not charge, they don't even make them any more, what a ripoff
