Generally the product is well designed for practice at home and I like the ball return feature which works well. Unfortunately after several weeks, the mat still has bumps from the original shipping. A smooth surface is critical for good feedback when practicing. Thus on balance I feel the product is mediocre.

The matt stays curled up at the end for a long time (mine is still curled- despite reverse rolling it up many times and for days at a time). I ordered the “acrylic” edition and received the wood version. I decided not to send it back. The small hole is kind of ridiculous and unnecessary in my opinion. Regular sized golf holes are what I’d prefer.

I’ve tried putting heavy objects on the mat, ironing it and stretching it. Nothing works to make it flat. The only reason I kept it is because real putting greens aren’t flat, so I just assume it is more realistic than a perfectly flat putt.

Not like grass in the least, doesn’t lay flat. Rolls lightening fast, wrinkles in carpet that won’t come out. No way this is improving your game.Photos show the wrinkles

For something with so few parts, mine was missing two! Sent it back. Will live with my crummy putting stroke.

It is a decent quality product but the major issue is the way it is packaged causes the mat to crease and wrinkle.You can leave heavy flat objects on it for weeks and the wrinkles remain.I have tried ironing it with some limited success, but it still feels like putting on an aerated green (bad).Borrowing a steamer from a friend and will revise my review if I have more success.I'm skeptical since the backing is either coated or is a separate rubberized surface that is glued (it seems more wrinkled than the top).I may end up replacing the mat with a carpet remnant if the steamer doesn't work.If you plan on rolling this thing up to use it intermittently, I would avoid.Realistically this needs to be shipped with a circular form to hold shape, but that would obviously affect shipping costs.

Super super short grass. It's barely even turf. It's more like super low green carpet. It's fine and it works but I felt like the picture looks like it's got nicer grass.

The product is great and my husband loves it. But I was supposed to get an XL and got a standard in an XL box. I've tried reaching out to Amazon with no such luck.

Good for speed practice. However mat is too too narrow and sides warp, which cause bad putt to correct and come back in line. Probably good for practicing 8 -10 feet putts. However 15 ft putt self correct due to wrap. Hate to return it.. you could have made this product little wider.

According to the promo video, the ball is supposed to roll down and onto the putting surface. Mine does not even come down from the top and stops midway. Other than that, I do like the putting surface. Might just send this back as it's not as advertised. Anyone else have these issues? I will be returning for a new one and hopefully this one is just defective.
